Camping Oranienstein

Very quiet campsite. Great for a stopover. Very spacious pitches and a lovely old-fashioned playground.

Beautifully situated site directly on the River Lahn. The owners are very friendly and nice. The pitches are generously sized, as they should be. The price is absolutely justified. The on-site restaurant serves good food; it was delicious. By bike, Diez is about 7 minutes away, with several good restaurants and ice-cream parlors. You get used to the road opposite.

We have nothing to complain about... The sanitary facilities were clean and adequate; we did not try the restaurant or beer garden. Everything was perfect for a weekend break! You have to cope with the ducks’ droppings, but traffic noise did not bother us.

We were lucky and got a pitch directly on the Lahn. You can take beautiful tours along the Lahn Valley Cycle Route. Unfortunately, the busy road made it quite noisy. The pitches farther back are considerably quieter. We slept well with earplugs. The sanitary facilities were somewhat old but clean.

Nice site. Since we were only staying overnight, the price of almost €30 was a little high. The restaurant is only open at weekends.

Unfortunately, only three points because we were promised a pitch by the water on the phone. When we arrived in the evening, that was no longer mentioned. Even choosing a pitch was impossible without the site manager, who was not there. So unfortunately, no place by the Lahn... Otherwise everything was fine: toilets and showers clean, pitches very large. The road disturbed me while sleeping.

Quick and easy check-in, a lovely uncomplicated pitch with grass for our motorhome. The restaurant and beer garden are top-notch; we would gladly come again.

A lovely campsite with spacious pitches on well-kept grass. The sanitary facilities were clean at all times of day and night. Friendly owners and a beautiful location. We have to deduct one point... the motorhome waste-disposal area is a little too centrally located for us.

Beautiful campsite beside the River Lahn, with clean, high-quality facilities. Reception staff were very helpful, and fresh bread and croissants are available each morning. We intend to stay longer next time.

Always happy to return. We have known Moni and Ulli for several years and always feel comfortable here. Some of the toilets have been completely renovated; everything is clean and tidy. Greetings from Ouzogasse.

Campsite directly on the Lahn with three sanitary buildings and a small kiosk offering bread rolls. There is also a restaurant (schnitzel, fries, salads...) with a lovely beer garden in good weather. The pitches are spacious and the owners were friendly. Also suitable for longer stays (water sports, directly on the cycle path, and the beautiful old town of Diez is 20 minutes away).
