Via al Dòs Ciastèl, 38010, Fai della Paganella
Been here?
This is a mainly level asphalt parking area, quiet and set back from the town beside a forest, with no services. It is 650 meters from the town centre and shops and serves as a starting point for various routes. There are few spaces and the access road is narrow; camping is prohibited, while parking has been described as tolerated.

The parking area is excellent, fairly level, away from the village and the chaos. Next to the most fragrant woodland I have ever smelled. When I arrived it was full and the recycling centre was open, but you could not hear it. I asked the worker if I was in the way and he replied courteously. In the morning, a traffic officer told me I could not camp; I pointed out that I was parked and then left.
Few spaces and access via a narrow lane. But people in this area do not like campervans. I parked for a walk, and the traffic officer emphasized that camping is forbidden; we understood that parking is tolerated, but reluctantly.
The drive up from the Adige Valley is “tiring” for a motorhome, but anyone looking for a quiet place and wanting to hike the next day should head here. At night, there are only animal noises. The village has all the important amenities.
