Allenview long-stay car park has a coach and motorhome area, close to Wimborne town centre and its minster. There are 4 coach-sized spaces, although 2 are marked permit holders only, and vehicles over 4.8m must pay more. Do not follow directions to Elizabeth Road; use signs for North Allengate Car Park. Overnight stays are not allowed.

The northern part of the car park is reserved for coaches and motorhomes, with ample room for our 6.9-metre vehicle. Do not follow directions for Elizabeth Road; use the signs pointing to North Allengate Car Park.
After entering, turn right and continue to the far end. Four coach-sized bays are available, although two are reserved for permit holders. All four were vacant on Saturday at lunchtime. We paid for an hour through the parking app, then noticed that vehicles longer than 4.8 metres pay extra, so check the tariff. Waitrose and Wimborne’s attractive shops are nearby.
A very good short-stay parking area with a few unusually large bays, only a short walk from the town centre.
A fantastic location where we were the sole vehicle, leaving plenty of room. It is a pleasant walk into town and its charming shops. Overnight parking is prohibited, but vehicles may remain until 10 PM, a sensible council policy. Waitrose is next door.
