Been here?
This lakeside roadside parking area has around 10 marked bays, no overnight restrictions and peaceful views across the lake. The cafe and public toilets are about 2 minutes away, although the toilets have recently been under repair and replacement facilities were poor. Parking can be sloping, the one-way system is confusing, and the area becomes busy with walkers in the morning. The town and supermarkets are within walking distance, but phone signal may be unavailable.

Great place to stay. Quieter around the lake than by the cafe. Noticed appeared recently reminding campers not to dump grey water (drains into lake). Look after this spot, it’s a god one.
probably one of the best places we have ever visited. toilets and caffe very close, big kids park nearby. super clean and quiet
Lovely picturesque spot with plenty of parking. Only negatives were the one way system is confusing and not currently reflected in Google maps, there was no phone signal where we parked, it was very busy in the morning with walkers and the toilets were under repair with the replacement portaloos disgusting.
What a beautiful lakeside stop, with roughly ten marked bays. There are no parking restrictions, and a café and toilets are two minutes away. We had the most peaceful night ever and will definitely return. Many thanks to Llandrindod Wells council for permitting responsible motorhome parking.
A pleasant place to stay, although finding a reasonably level pitch was difficult because the whole area slopes. There are nice walks around the lake, and our night was quiet and peaceful.
We had a wonderful night with a lake view, and it was very quiet. There are no restrictions, plenty of bins, and no height barrier. Public toilets beside the café close overnight. EE, Vodafone, and Three/SMARTY signals were weak. Parking is now in the center of the road because a cycle lane has been installed.
A beautiful overnight stop with many rubbish bins, making it easy to leave no waste behind.
An excellent lakeside stop with spacious, level bays. The bins are emptied daily, and nights are delightfully quiet apart from the geese.
We enjoyed a peaceful night in this scenic place. Please protect this wonderful stop and leave absolutely no trace.
This post is incorrectly located; the parking spots are much farther around the lake. I have posted the revised location.
A lovely, quiet location with an excellent café beside the lake serving breakfast.
We stayed last night and found it a beautiful, peaceful place to park, with no overnight restrictions and a lovely lake view. We recommend it.
Great place to stay. Stopped here three times now. Thumbs up from us.
Superb place, easy to access and peaceful. View of the lake. Walks nearby, free parking. Plenty of rubbish bins along the lake. Lovely playground for children and activities on the lake (pedal boats, canoeing, paddleboarding).
A brilliant overnight stop, with ducks behind the parking area and lots of shade. The recently introduced one-way route is marked from the main road by brown signs, clearly labeled “Lake.”
Absolutely breathtaking. We stayed one night. The lakeside café and shop close at 4:30 p.m., but town is a pleasant walk away with shops, museums, and other amenities. Parking is free.
