A level gravel parking area beside the Agustaschacht estate and its Gestapo camp memorial, close to Terratrack hiking trails. Recent reports confirm that there are picnic tables, no sanitary facilities and good 5G reception. A railway line runs beside the site, with freight trains and repeated horn use at the nearby unbarred crossing throughout the night. The location is therefore unsuitable for anyone needing a quiet overnight stay.

So much for a quiet night!!! Freight trains ran all night on the railway line to the nearby steelworks in GM-Hütte. And because there are no barriers at the level crossing behind the museum, they blew their horns loudly every time. Anyone who does not mind that is welcome to stay overnight here. We will not do so again. The place is very nice for a daytime rest, but not for spending the night.
Level gravel parking area, very quiet, picnic tables, opportunities for hiking, railway line next to it is not in use, no sanitary facilities, good 5G network; leave nothing but footprints!
Beautiful, level spot next to the museum and close to hiking areas.
