Unnamed Road, 91344, Waischenfeld
Been here?
A simple campsite in a very quiet forest setting, with friendly owners and access via a long gravel road; recent information says it is suitable only for small motorhomes. Facilities include a large shared kitchen, new toilets, a covered terrace and chilled beer from a small brewery. The site is usually extremely quiet outside school holidays, but youth camps and large groups can make it busy during holidays and weekends. It is a good base for boat and cycling trips.

Super-beautiful camping area with plenty of shade. Only suitable for small motorhomes. Brand-new toilets. Large kitchen for cooking yourself!!! Large covered terrace. Extremely quiet outside the summer holidays. Extremely friendly operators. Great starting point for boat trips from Doos and cycling tours into the Aufsess Valley. Castle next door.Translating
Attention: at least during the school holidays, the name is misleading, as youth camps take place here and it gets quite lively! Not suitable for those seeking peace and quiet. The location is naturally wonderful, and the owners are very friendly and helpful.Translating
My daughter and I spent three wonderful days there with our camper. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient. I did not miss having an electricity hookup at all. The place, beautifully located in the forest and close to great destinations, rounds everything off. Fortunately, the campsite is not burdened with Wi-Fi either!Translating
Not a good stopping place: it is residential and was packed with cars when I arrived. I would not relax among houses so close together. It is only an option when exhausted and unable to continue, provided a space is available.Translating
Alongside all the positive reviews from the other campers, a few comments. At weekends there are often large groups, so it is much less peaceful. The quoted price of €14 is misleading because it is per person and not the rate for a camper, but the price is worth it.Translating
...wonderfully peaceful grassy pitch. Jürgen and Erika are very accommodating, friendly and helpful... In the middle of the forest, perfect for dog owners... We will come back.Translating
We stayed here for three days over Easter. Erika and Jürgen are super nice. There is a kitchen that everyone can use, as well as drinks and a bread-roll service. Dogs are warmly welcomed. The access road is more suitable for smaller campers than large motorhomes. The site is far out in the forest, which was perfect for us. Anyone looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle will find the perfect place here.Translating
Without booking in advance, we parked at an abandoned site in the forest. After a friendly phone call with the owner, we were able to choose our pitch freely. The owner came a little later and showed us everything. There was also delicious beer from the local brewery.Translating
Beautiful clearing, clean facilities, a paradise for children, dogs allowed, bread-roll service at weekends, new price €14 plus €1 tourist tax. The owners are super friendly—a rare, natural place away from the hustle and bustle! We will come back!Translating
A jewel in Franconian Switzerland. Erika is the soul of the site and takes care of everything! The fully equipped kitchen can be used. Toilets, showers, firewood, barbecues… everything is available. The approach to the site already promises a lot: pure nature and peaceful coexistence between campers and tent campers. Price: €14/person.Translating
