Parkside picnic area, traffic noise

Really nothing special, beside the road in town.

Fine for a stop to have lunch.

You can park easily after 5 p.m. on a Wednesday. Close to a school; you have to wait for everyone to leave before the car park is empty. On Thursday, we expected to have lots of cars around us, but the school seemed to be closed! A very large park right next door. Road nearby means noise, but no traffic right next to us because the road ends in a cul-de-sac.

Several parking spaces, close to the Caen Memorial. Despite a few cars passing, it is a quiet place.

Great place, quiet and sheltered from the wind. Small developed area, next to everything. I recommend it.

Nice spot & a quiet night. Arrive after 4pm due to the business school workers/students all parking here. Our 6.4m van fitted nicely in the spaces

Perfect for one night, very quiet. Access to the park in 5 minutes on foot, then another 5 minutes on foot to the memorial. There were two motorhomes; the place is very clean. A supermarket is located just behind.

Too short, it won’t fit.

6.5 metres is perfect. Fits perfectly in the spaces. Slightly sloping, but compensated for by the air suspension. Very quiet night.

Between the road and a park, there is some shade during the day.

Perfect for one night, not far from the memorial. Shaded spaces and quiet at night. Avoid for long vehicles, but good for L2 H2. Bins and picnic tables nearby.
