Parking along the road is perfectly fine for one night. You have a great view and are right by the beach. We didn’t look for toilets, etc. Parking was free at night and not prohibited. During busy traffic periods, you get shaken around a bit; at night it was quiet.Translating
Stayed here Wed and Thu. As it’s a main thoroughfare, has lots of traffic until 11pm. Van rocked as car shot past, which is uncomfortable. Morning traffic starts before 6 am, & joggers all hours (midnight!). However, it is beautiful, overlooking sea & plenty of walking paths and usual seafront activities. Parking £8.45 8am-6pm If you’re as light sleeper, I wouldn’t stay here.Translating
Stayed here on Saturday night, over the airshow weekend. paid £8.45 for 10 hours for daytime parking, free over night. Naturally you hear road noise and the van will rock with some passing vehicles but overall a good place to stay. No waste bins provided so please take your waste home. Stayed here for one night, no problems at all. Woke up to the sound of waves on the beach below! Admittedly, it was a Sunday night but it was very quiet indeed. Only heard the odd car through the night and we both slept very well! Would recommend. Translating
Very busy road with fast cars shaking the van as they go past. Lovely for daytime walks and access to Eastbourne and the beach but wouldn't recommend staying overnight as we didn't sleep well.Translating
Very few cars at night. The closest toilets are out of order and look like they have been for many years but another few are a short walk along the seafront.Translating
Surprisingly peaceful even on a Friday night, just one long loud horn around 10pm then woke up to an empty road at 7am. Great access paths down to the beach with bins and public toilets (locked in the evening). Translating
Free parking on the main seafront street. Very quiet when we stayed (weekday/night). You have to pay between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.Translating
We added this place, left hand side has extra width for vans and campers. Peaceful night with the sound of the waves crashing. The odd car passing and a few voices.Translating
