Dune parking, overnight camping prohibited

The spot in front of the harbour kiosk is already beautiful; the picturesque boats lying on the beach are a famous and wonderful photo subject. But if you continue along the gravel road to the left of the harbour kiosk, you reach many small pitches in the dunes! Only the sound of the sea, a little wind, and otherwise complete peace and quiet! Highly recommended.✦Translating

Certainly a daytime parking area, but the beach is beautiful and this fishing port—with no harbour, the boats pulled up onto the sand—is surprising and picturesque. There is only one restaurant on site, unfortunately closed on the day of our visit. A good spot for the harbour, the view and photos.✦Translating

Very nice pitch for about 5 motorhomes directly behind the dike. Public toilets and a small kiosk serving hot food nearby. Absolutely quiet location. Extensive walks along the beach are ideal for relaxing.✦Translating

Daytime parking, a fishing hamlet where their boats are hauled ashore with the help of a bulldozer! Quite spectacular. They sell their fish directly, and there is also a restaurant where their fish is cooked—very good and reasonably priced.✦Translating

Good opportunities to buy fresh caught fish at Thorupstrand Røgeri or Thorupstrand Fiskehus i Vester Torup. Nice place to experience, highly recommend this place. Thorupstrand is a living cultural environment and Northern Europe's largest coastal landing site. Here you can follow along and see the fishing boats being pulled up onto the beach after the day's catch.
