Hermitage parking, limited shade

A pleasant little spot with a freshwater spring. We spent a very quiet night there, waking to birdsong. We parked in the shade of the chapel in the middle of the afternoon, but moved a few dozen metres because of the floodlights that come on to illuminate the chapel in the early evening. No services apart from the spring, which can be useful for getting water.

The place is fine. But if you are looking for shade to protect yourself from the heat, as we were, you won’t find it here at the moment. The trees have currently been completely pruned.

Fantastic place. Quiet and convenient for spending the night in this small village. The neighbours are very pleasant. Very peaceful area.

We spent one night here. We arrived late, but it was easy to find. We slept wonderfully; it was a quiet area and the night was cool for this time of year. In the morning we greeted the neighbours who passed by—lovely people who were happy to have us visit.

This is a lovely stop, we had planned to stay the night, but didn't as it just seemed a bit too quiet and might upset the locals. It could be we are just too sensitive, it's this is what you want it would be lovely.

We stopped for a break to eat and rest. Shade and tranquillity.

Great place to stop and sleep. Very quiet. The neighbour opposite the chapel is a great man who tells you not to park in the area where the village dogs relieve themselves, and lets you sleep opposite the chapel and his home. He is a very pleasant and friendly man.

Parking spot is good, quiet and not far from main road. No problems, no disturbance.

Quite a peaceful place to rest, with small trees and just enough shade. No services. Slightly sloping.
