Viewpoint picnic parking, road noise

Dreamlike view. Barbecue area, even with firewood. It’s wonderful that places like this exist.

A truly perfect place! A splendid view with a hiking trail right next to it. And as a bonus, there is the possibility of having a barbecue.

Open rubbish bags abandoned and torn open by animals, lots of motorcycles passing, beautiful viewpoint. We did not stay overnight.

Fantastic view and very quiet… Please take your rubbish with you; the bin was removed because it was overloaded… It would be nice if this place could continue to exist… We slept very well…

Super cool spot with a magnificent view. Possibility of putting up a tent. Not much traffic at night, but a little in the morning. Very welcoming bovine neighbours.

We had a good night here in the roof tent. Quiet at night, but a lot of traffic on the road during the day. The view is truly dreamlike. At this time of year there is no more sun from the afternoon onwards.

Very quiet. Great sunset. A fire pit/barbecue is available. Local butcher down in the village.

Everything was fine. It was quiet, apart from the door of an old T3 that apparently had to be opened constantly. Buy yourselves a toilet or go to a campsite, then you won’t foul the whole place.

Extraordinary view beside a very quiet road. Facilities in good condition. A shelter with tables and benches for when it rains.

Stopped for one night on 4 August in a roof tent despite the rain and wind. It overlooks the road, with little traffic, but the view is superb. Small shelter, stone barbecue available, and a hiking trail leading to the Hohe Möhr observation tower, whose 1893 tower stands at 1,000 m altitude and offers an impressive view. The only drawback: human excrement and used toilet paper! Please show some respect.

Very beautiful place, but unfortunately overnight stays will surely soon be prohibited. The bin has already been removed because it was overused. We stayed one night with two other campers; it was quiet and clean, but someone checked the place at night with a flashlight. We felt uneasy and unfortunately did not stay a second night. Great for having a picnic, though!

It is a parking place with a beautiful view. In bad weather you can sit in a hut, and in sunshine you can sit outside. Firewood for the barbecue area is also available. The road directly alongside is heavily trafficked during the day, especially by motorcyclists. At night only an occasional car passed.

There is an excellent table, benches, a barbecue area and even a shelter. The view is simply incredible. It is right by the roadside, but there are not very many cars.

Many motorcycles during the day. Very quiet at night with enough distance from the road. You can relax here and enjoy the view of a beautiful panorama. Great place!
