Been here?
This daytime parking area is beside a river, a few hundred meters from the main road, with nearby small walking paths and climbing at the rock face. The access track has some holes, and the ground is somewhat sloping and stony. The opposite town has a shop and toilet, while the road across the river can be heard, though traffic decreases in the evening. Overnight use has previously been prohibited.

Back here again, and this place is always lovely—slightly sloping, but right by the river, and you can also climb the rock face.
Ideal place for a meal break. You can hear the road opposite quite a lot, but it is acceptable. It is cool here (shade from the trees) and the river is next to it. The path has a few potholes but is okay for a van.
Shopping opportunity (with toilet) in the village opposite. Right on the riverbank, with smaller hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. The ground is rocky for camping, but manageable with a lot of patience. Direct view of the river, but also of the road (traffic decreases in the evening). Accordingly, the noise is somewhat louder.
Comment below: very rude lady? Do you really think that you can do whatever you like in Norway? Most land inkl forest are privat, but the law (lov om fri ferdsel) gives us the freedom until some locals or a sign tell us not to. There are also a lot of limits to freecamping. Wildcamping is forbidden by law, and if you don't have a toilet find one! Btw dogs at leash april-sept acc to law. Campers from south of DK is not popular in Norway, due to several things.
A very unpleasant lady (not Norwegian) came and told us that it is private property and that we should go to the campsite in the village. She says spending the night is forbidden.
Between two roads and really not very nice. Campers have left toilet paper everywhere and it smells of excrement. There are much nicer places in the area!
Close to town with shops etc. Two pkaces are flat. Ok for vans up to 6 metres.
Not a very attractive place, opposite the road.
Nice parking place. Quiet and idyllic. Unfortunately, there are a lot of mosquitoes.
We were sent away; it is no longer permitted to spend the night here.
Beautiful and quiet place. It is a shame that other users do not bury or take away their excrement and toilet paper; it is simply lying there in plain sight :(
A very nice place by the water, also wonderful with dogs. You can take pleasant walks and walk your dogs here. Close to a bridge that creates some traffic noise, which we did not find disturbing. There is also a nice bridge a little further on.
