Been here?
A fairly level roadside lay-by beside Loch Ken, with room for approximately five vans and easy access to the water and boat launch. Daytime parking is free, there are bins, and traffic usually becomes quiet late in the evening. There are no other facilities, and a recent visit encountered a swarm of flies.

I think parking here is free and fairly level, but when we arrived there was a crazy swarm of flys! Moved on
Stayed for a night, big lay by next to the water. Traffic died off late evening and we had a quiet night.
Great access to the loch. Enjoyed paddleboarding. No charge for parking during the day.
My first night in Scotland was here. Fairly level and the traffic does ease and its quiet late evening. I did get quite a few hoots as people went past though. It is about half a mile past the postcode and sneaks up on you even with the P signs. I’d suggest checking it out on google maps first. There is a Shell garage and Londis 15mins up the road.
Quiet location with plenty of room for approximately five vans. No facilities but an ideal stopping point for exploring further afield. Near the main road but traffic was light so not a problem.
