This is a simple free parking area without services beside the Schwarze Elster, a climbing park, and a hotel. It has been considered suitable for one quiet overnight stop during a journey. A recent daytime attempt was made to steal a bicycle, with a strap cut.

We only wanted to take a nap at lunchtime. Someone tried to steal my bike; unbelievable in broad daylight. They cut through the strap. I will never come here again.
At the beginning of June we spent one night here from Saturday to Sunday while passing through. A nice place to explore. It was quiet and highly recommended. We would happily stop here again.
Basic place, but perfectly adequate for passing through. No problems for one night. Directly next to a construction site and heavily used for parking work vans.
