Been here?
A wild cliff-top spot with spectacular views, several places for campers or vans, and peaceful nights. The slightly sandy driveway is passable without a 4x4, and Praia da Foz is 5 minutes away on foot. Waves can be heard nearby, while the area may be busy at sunset. It is a natural reserve: do not leave waste, use showers or toilets, discharge water, fly drones, or drive over vegetation.

Really nice place. We stayed for one night. It’s perfect for watching the sunset and has enough space for a few campers or vans.
Wonderful! We spent two nights in a row here and visited Sintra and Lisbon in between! We felt safe because there was always at least one camper or car around. If we come back this way, we will definitely stop here again! Fairly clean, but it could be improved… there are no bathrooms, although we often found toilet paper lying around!
A beautiful Spot, very peaceful, with a breathtaking view
Superb spot, the place is incredible and the road to get there is great. We spent a peaceful night.
Magnificent place where you feel privileged in the face of so much beauty—absolutely worth preserving! Various spots, whether exposed, along the road, or somewhat hidden among the trees while still offering a view. Five minutes’ walk from the superb wild beach of Praia da Foz. The access road is wide and very drivable.
Back two years later, and still just as extraordinary! Magnificent view and lots of walks to do around here. Several possible spots. The road was resurfaced yesterday—no more potholes!
Amazing spot on the cliff. Many spots where to park your van. Beach nearby and sound of the waves as a lullaby.
IMPORTANT: this is Natural Park. Leave NO trash/toilet paper. NO drones, disturbing the birds. DON’T discharge grey water, or shower. DON’T block access to the view/cliffs as locals & fisherman used this since ever to observe the ocean. Don’t drive over vegetation. This area used to be green& gets only more and more sand paths. If you all want this to stay a 5star camper place, leave no trace.
This is a natural reserve park, DON'T DESTROY IT! Leave vegetation intact DON'T DRIVE OVER IT. NO SHOWERS, it's polluting the place. NO TOILET RUNS, it's unhealthy and dangerous for wildlife. Locals come here before going fishing to spot the waves or for beach & vans SHOULDN'T PARK RIGHT NEXT TO CLIFF, don't block view! Please enjoy it, let the birds be free of disturbances, KEEP DRONES AWAY!
Incredible view, quite a bit of sea spray, so it is exposed to dampness, but it is worth it.
Beautiful spot with sea views.
The spot is very well known, so there are lots of people, but the sunset is simply incredible ☀️
Beautiful spot, very windy during the night though.
What a lovely place by the sea! Easily accessible and plenty of space for several vans. Small beach within walking distance. If it is windy, you are fully exposed, but you can also park a little farther from the edge.
Beautiful! Great view, great surroundings! You are not completely alone, but you can be undisturbed among the trees; it is somewhat windy at the front. The road looks very steep, but it is easily manageable with a van, even without 4x4. The road is somewhat bumpy and has potholes, but driving slowly is no problem. Accessible at night. We loved it and stayed longer right away :)
We stayed here for one night. A great spot with a great view. Please leave the place tidy.
The place looks beautiful, but the last section of the access road was too steep for our camper. The road leading there is also full of potholes. If you are not put off by a serious incline, I think it is highly recommended.
Absolutely unreal and beautiful place. Keep it clean please. Some of the spots on the southern side are blocked with fences since someone is building a house there. It still has enough room for multiple cars for spots which are away from the building.
Just MAGNIFICENT. A breathtaking view ☀️, on the side of a cliff, incredible. Really, don’t hesitate! Out of season, there were two vehicles.
Wow. There is simply nothing to complain about at this spot. Amazing view, lots of peace and quiet. Brilliant. In the evening, locals come to enjoy the sunset. It is paradise for our dogs. They can run around endlessly! The access road is wide and good but very bumpy. :-)
Excellent, peaceful spot on the cliff where you can enjoy the sunset over the water. There is a small adventurous path down to a very pretty sandy beach. A few visitors also came to enjoy the sunset, but they were very respectful.
Perfect in the off-season! The access via Azoia is much easier to drive on. However, you can clearly hear the airplanes... in the morning around 8 or 9, it is rush hour :) There are some lovely walks toward the cape starting from these spots.
Beautiful, quiet, tranquil spot. You can hear nothing but the ocean.
The approach is very bumpy, as there are several ruts in the road. At the site itself, there are several places where you can park. It was clean, with no signs. We had a very peaceful night. Locals came by from time to time, but it was not a problem :)
Exceptionally beautiful location on top of the cliffs, with views of Lisbon and the Atlantic Ocean. The road there is not in very good condition, but it is manageable if you drive slowly.
Great sunset, very peaceful night!
