Been here?
A very large, free cemetery parking square mixed with cars, suitable for daytime visits to Bergamo. It is generally quiet, with a bus stop directly beside the parking area for reaching the city centre. The centre and old town are about 35 minutes away on foot, while bicycles make access quicker. Overnight parking is not allowed after 23h; the train station is 10 minutes away, with trains to Milan and Verona.

Free parking, ideal for a 6-metre van. A little far from the centre or old town—35 minutes on foot.
Large parking area with a bus stop right next to it for getting to the city centre.
Good for daytime parking: easy to use, and bicycles get you into Bergamo quickly. We initially planned to stay overnight, but signs throughout the area require departure by 11 p.m. Since it was very open and visible, we left and slept elsewhere.
It is possible to park a 7.5-metre vehicle for free, but it means a 40–45-minute walk to the funicular—more than 2 km.
Free parking, ideal for visiting Bergamo. The upper town is more than 30 minutes’ walk away; you can take the bus, with tickets costing €1.70, the same price as the funicular.
