Newly constructed asphalt daytime parking at the church, supplementing the existing spaces. Camping is not permitted. It is convenient for visiting the centre, the fjord and the ferry to Urnes, about 10 minutes downhill on foot. The parking can become very crowded, so arriving early is advisable.

Convenient for visiting the centre but definitely overcrowded! Better to arrive early in the morning (we stayed in July).Translating
Ten minutes’ walk downhill to the ferry to visit the Urnes Stave Church. Long motorhomes can overhang on one side. Right by the church. The ferry parking area is not suitable for long motorhomes; you can turn around down below.Translating
Perfect for visiting this little port, but you can also go down to the ferry parking area, which brings you closer for a walk.Translating
