11 Bückelhaube, 67269, Grünstadt
Been here?
This well-maintained motorhome area is beside the Cabriobad Leiningerland, with narrow spaces and access that requires careful manoeuvring. It costs 18€ per day, allows a maximum of 2 overnight stays, and requires departure by 11. The swimming pool is directly next door, while shops and a pedestrian zone are about 10 minutes away on foot. Suitable vehicles are officially limited to 7m.

And shops, but a few improvements would make this place much more pleasant.
Well maintained, but rightly expensive. We were there for only 35 hours, but had to pay for 2 full days: €36. We did not even have time to use the waste disposal and water facilities, as everyone wanted or had to leave by 11 a.m. to avoid paying another €18 daily rate. Very frustrating and not recommended.
For two nights, the perfect place: very clean, quiet, and well laid out next to the swimming pool. Perfect for campers passing through who want a sauna day; campers get a discount. You need to be able to maneuver—we managed it with our 7.5-meter motorhome despite the site being full. I cannot understand the harsh criticism.
Very narrow pitches at a very busy parking area during the day. The parking arrangement is also very inflexible. Maximum 2 nights, and you must leave the site by 11 a.m. Stricter rules than at any campsite.
I’m sorry, but €18 for Grünstadt—seriously? I don’t even pay that for a parking spot in a major city. And Grünstadt offers no waste disposal for the motorhome travelers living here unless you pay €18. Very sad; they should look to our neighbors in France, who would probably also be shocked if they saw this.
Actually a nice place, but unfortunately with several weaknesses. The pitches are simply too small. When the site is well occupied, there is no room left to maneuver. In addition, the 11 a.m. departure time is not very guest-friendly. From 10 a.m. onward, panic breaks out everywhere as people try to reach the service area before everyone else and get off the site in time.
As already mentioned, the pitches are not very long, but the site can also be accessed with a 7.5 m motorhome; the entrance is not entirely easy, though. €18.00 would not be overpriced if it were for 24 hours, since the site is well maintained. Waste bins are hard to find: go through the gate at the back right of the site toward the swimming pool. When entering the license plate, tap the display twice.
Nicely laid-out site, everything is there and everything works, swimming pool next door—brilliant... We would come back anytime!!
When we were staying at this otherwise beautiful motorhome site, the irrigation system came on at 10:30 p.m. and sprayed against our motorhome, startling us awake. The next morning, our motorhome was covered in very stubborn limescale spots. We don’t need that on holiday and will not return!
Actually a great place. I don’t quite understand the reviews about the entrance—anyone who can reverse a little can easily get into the wide pitches. Great swimming pool right next door with very friendly staff. Pedestrian zone and supermarket within a 10-minute walk. Very quiet at night. One point deducted because it is a few euros too expensive, but recommended overall.
Who planned this again? 7 m, completely detached from reality. It’s hardly possible to get any tighter, and then they charge €18. Impossible in the province. Grünstadt also wants to profit from motorhome tourists instead of being glad that anyone comes.
I only wanted to fill up with fresh water—but that is not possible because the service area is behind the barrier. The site itself is almost impossible to make uglier. It has the charm of a battery farm.
There are countless possibilities in the surrounding area. Overpriced. For an ordinary small town, an absurd price... It fits the administration.
With 10 pitches, the available area is overcrowded, which is reflected in the cramped conditions. You have to hold the receipt with the QR code in slightly low and at an angle for it to be read. Then it works and the barrier opens.
A brand-new site. Tight, uneven, and “no” waste bins. But €18 without water.
