A recent stay cost about 5€ for the day, and the metro takes around 20 minutes to the center. The area is relatively quiet, between a cemetery and detached houses, though older comments mention daytime and nighttime traffic noise.

Great that there is a street where you can park all day for about €5. The metro line 4 is a five-minute walk away and takes you, with one change, right to the Eiffel Tower. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet because it is between a cemetery and detached houses.
Super loud and not free, not even in August. I left immediately!
We left the motorhome parked at this spot and it was great. Twenty minutes by metro to the centre (€2.10 per single ticket). The area is quiet and, since it was August, it was free—something very difficult to find in Paris.
