Mountain valley, overnight forbidden

Still just as many ticks in the grass! No phone service and no 4G.

Really nice place, quiet, but can get crowded as it’s a departure for hikes. Come outside of the weekend or holidays. We went a bit further than the GPS and parked in the grass on the right of the road. The local are friendly, a farmer and his sheep greeted us. The surrounding are so beautiful it’s out of a painting. We loved it so much we stayed another night after our hike to Lac Bleu.

The site is now forbidden for wild camping, even for one night; large blocks prevent parking. There is no point driving all the way there. We often come to the area and prefer to use the campsite at the bottom of the valley.

The surroundings are great, but I strongly advise vans against taking the small road, which is rocky and has low branches. I tried it for at least 1 km and found nowhere to park. Large rocks had been placed to prevent parking, so I turned back and parked a little higher up, outside the car park. No internet.

Superb place! Quiet, with horses in the evening and cows right beside the van in the morning! A delight!

Very nice spot (visited in July 2024) at the starting point of hikes, with shade. Don’t hesitate to continue along the track to find more small, quiet spots. Please leave nothing behind ;)

Since there were no recent comments, we still made the trip to this spot. Indeed, a sign indicates (since mid-2023), after the small bridge behind the restaurant, that camping is prohibited but one night of wild camping is permitted. We nevertheless slept there for two nights (off-season) and were not bothered.

Wonderful place that should be preserved. It is better not to arrive after sunset, otherwise it is difficult to assess the site. You can drive down near the river, but getting back up can indeed be difficult with a long overhang. Peaceful place to spend a night and a day. The hike to Lac Bleu is fantastic—we swam there. Beware, it is a difficult hike with lots of rocks, but worth the effort.

Pleasant places in the middle of nature! Plenty of room for everyone! But unfortunately there is toilet paper behind the trees! A shame for nature!!

Beautiful place. Very pleasant with children, with lots of space where they can play. Starting point for some beautiful hikes.

Perfect, but be careful: the road is only suitable for cars or vans, not motorhomes! Only one night permitted!

Nice place, but an unpleasant surprise when we returned from our walk the next day. Wild camping is permitted for only one night; we were fined because we had left the van and equipment while we went to Lac Bleu. So the welcome was not great. Beware of ticks; there are some in the grass.
