We turned up without booking and were thrilled to find a pitch facing the beach. It took several minutes to locate the ideal space. Recommended for the position and sweeping views.✦Translating

Turn right into the narrow lane just before the Strand Bar. We came on July 10 at 7pm and expected it to be full, but luckily found room. It is busy, yet wonderfully placed for dune walks and the town. The owner arrived by bicycle and kindly fitted us in. Toilet emptying and a water tap are available, although we watched an elderly man rinse a filthy cassette with the fresh-water tap, so take care.✦Translating

A pleasant, quiet overnight stop for €15, payable inside the casino. Staff come around knocking on vans during the evening to confirm payment. Our exit token failed, so we paid €2 to raise the barrier. It allows only about ten seconds for passage, and we missed it, requiring another €2. That part felt rather like a scam.✦Translating

I spent the night here and felt completely secure. Parking costs €15, with power adding €5; payment is made in the casino, where you receive exit tokens. The helpful, friendly woman even offered tea and coffee while we chatted. I highly recommend it. A gorgeous, small enclosed site looking toward the beach, with breathtaking ocean scenery and waves audible while sleeping. Entry is secure through the casino’s rear car park. So incredibly beautiful. The view is amazing. The sea is right outside your door. We would gladly pay €20 including electricity for this view again anytime. Paying at the casino was very easy; you get a token for the barrier exit. If you are nearby, make sure to stop here! The staff are welcoming and helpful, and this is much more adaptable than the large campsite next door. Waterfront pitches offer wonderful views, while plenty of places to eat and drink are close by. Noise was minimal after 10pm. Some ground slopes, and roughly eight to ten campervans fit on the level area.✦Translating
