Gravel spaces, barking dog

Three beautiful, large and level pitches beside the cycle path with a view of the Main. Clean toilets and an ice machine, highly recommended. A heartfelt thank-you to the municipality of Collenberg.

Three generously sized pitches on fine gravel. The neighbour's dog barked continuously from 6 p.m. The toilet is very clean, with soap and paper towels! Delicious ice cream from the machine! You can only vaguely see the Main. Three restaurants in the village. O2 network drops out every few minutes.

We spent a quiet night here. Clean toilet, rubbish bin available, directly on the Main. Many thanks to the municipality.

Actually a great place, if two of the three spaces were not occupied by motorhomes that are not staying overnight. I wish them occupied spaces and a night in the middle of nowhere on their next trips.

Excellent place, perfectly level. Very clean toilets, although we did not use them. Walk along the Main and through the village. We watched the fire brigade during a drill. Spent a quiet afternoon and night. The municipality deserves praise for providing this facility. Water and electricity available. Free.

Only two spaces are available. One space is used as permanent storage by a local person, presumably because they do not have one themselves.

Everything as described, very idyllic. Unfortunately, fellow campers dirty the public toilet by emptying their chemical cassette into it... It would be a great shame if this place were closed because of such people.

We were here on 23 September 2023 for a quiet night. On arrival at 10 a.m. on Saturday, all pitches were free. Directly beside the cycle path; quiet train sounds until around 8 p.m. The recreational facilities next door are popular with locals during the day. The toilet is clean and well maintained, but unfortunately many campers and tent campers cannot manage to close the door behind them. THANK YOU to the municipality of Collenberg for the site!

Poor concept on the part of the municipality. Cars constantly park illegally in the three spaces designated for motorhomes. The fourth space is for cars, which is also questionable. And the neighbour's barking dog is annoying. Positives are the great location and clean toilet building.

Great place for three campers. We were there with four, which was also fine. The rearmost spot borders the grass, where we enjoyed sitting in the sun for a long time. There are many picnic benches by the Main, 50 metres away. What a wonderful way to start the day with breakfast. The toilet with sink is cleaned exceptionally well.

A beautiful, well-maintained place, as described. Unfortunately, the inn is closed until mid-July.
