A great place, 5 minutes from town. Very quiet, no road noise. The waste-disposal facilities are usable. Drinking water costs €2, which is customary locally and justified; the parking fee is very reasonable for such a beautiful place. We’d gladly return. There were already many campers when we arrived around 5 p.m. The ground is very dusty, so when it’s windy, the dust really blows around. The pitches aren’t marked, so everyone chooses where to park themselves—an advantage and a disadvantage. €2 for 10 minutes of water at the entrance. There are also rubbish bins and a waste-water dump. Ideal for us, close to the centre.✦Translating

OK for visiting the town of Le Crotoy and taking the steam train to St Valery-sur-Somme. It’s just a bit of wasteland with a payment point; you pay extra for water and cleaning the toilet cassette, which isn’t good in a heatwave. Travel 30 minutes to Fort-Mahon, a much better €15 aire that includes water, cassette-cleaning water, electricity and laundry machines, plus properly sized, clearly marked pitches.✦Translating

Lots of potholes in the pitches; we saw quite a few motorhomes releasing their grey water onto the ground… that doesn’t help! We parked along the jetty, where motorhomes are prohibited, next to this parking area for 3 hours. We paid for 2 hours; this is tolerated during the day. The motorhome park was full.

Very convenient aire. Immediately near the village of Le Crotoy. Flat ground, easy parking. Some grassy areas. €10 for 24 hours.

One night in a van as a stopgap on this motorhome aire. Very clean, very quiet, close to the town centre, €10 for 24 hours—cheaper than the local car park and even cheaper than the campsite. Local sellers of strawberries and potatoes in the morning.

Despite all the negative reviews, we hesitated to come, but honestly this aire isn’t that bad. You pay €10, but compared with the price of an ordinary car park, it’s very affordable. If you want more services, go elsewhere or stay at a campsite! Located next to Le Crotoy, with lovely walks nearby. And by the way: not a single rat showed its whiskers…

Great stopover, messy services but beautiful village .

An increase with no additional services. The town is getting richer but isn’t improving the aire. Perhaps you should make an effort too, because it’s a very pleasant place, especially the centre and its shops.

Well, I’m giving it 5 stars because there was plenty of space at this time of year. The price is acceptable compared with other places. Close to the centre and close to the beach.

Close to the town centre, a decent motorhome aire, but in rainy weather there are large puddles in the gravel.

We paid the advertised price for 24 hours: €10. We almost didn’t come to this aire because of all the negative comments. That would have been a mistake. Very pretty village. Flat ground, very well located, close to the centre. We found a place despite arriving at 6 p.m. There were at least 30 places still available. A good stopover.

Hello, we stayed 5 hours in this dirty and chaotic parking area (on 29/4). Too much dust, air unbreathable. Even the rats are bothered. We left for the Tarteron car park, at most 1.5 km away (€14.32 per day including electricity and services). Why doesn’t the town of Le Crotoy make more effort? These problems are recurring. Such a shame.

One star overall. €12 for 24 hours’ parking; if you need water, add another €2. No markings on the ground, and some people take advantage of this by confusing parking with camping! Given the number of motorhomes, the town hall could invest in more clarity and comfort!

Thanks to the municipality, a pleasant aire close to the centre. Already quite full in April; I don’t dare imagine it in summer.

One star for access close to the town centre, one star for the view of the harbour, one star for the space and walks. The rest is not great: uneven ground full of large holes, the price has increased to €10 with no electricity or water, which must be paid for extra. It’s a shame—the town could invest. We support the local businesses. Take an example from Fort-Mahon-Plage; a great initiative by that resort.

Environment = car park! Convenient for going into town.

Large area with a beautiful front-row view. The area around the bins is extremely clean, and after 48 hours we still haven’t seen a rat. Apparently the municipality has managed to get the problem under control. We can’t comment on the electricity supply, as there is only one connection point and you would need a very long cable. The village of Le Crotoy is enchanting.

Very large aire, with a few electrical connections facing the sea; elsewhere you are self-sufficient. Very convenient, as the harbour and town centre are 600 and 700 metres away. Price: €12 for 24 hours. Thank you to the municipality of Le Crotoy.

Although this aire is well located, the electrical hookup is not. It is at the entrance to the parking area. There are only 8 sockets, costing €2 per hour. THIS IS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY, especially since you have to go and feed the meter every hour. Don’t expect to spend a night with an auxiliary heater.

Just before Christmas, there are only 4 of us, which is a change from the summer crowds and the impossibility of finding a space. Otherwise, nothing changes from year to year: rats, ruts everywhere and steadily increasing prices. However, there is a beautiful view, a pleasant village and the centre is a few hundred metres away.

In itself, a good location near the village, but… there are also many rats walking around during the day, especially near the rubbish bins, and the sanitary facilities are inadequate too, so there is a lot that could be improved. Actually the worst and dirtiest aire we have encountered in the past two months. People come anyway!

The plus: location near the town centre. The minus: the card payment terminal was broken and there was no telephone number to call. Rats run near the bins and the aire is unusable in rainy weather.

We had a ticket valid until 4 p.m., but because the machine wasn’t working with cards, I had to get change at the fish shop. It was impossible to reach anyone, so we paid €18 for 25 hours. We shared the area with hundreds of rats near the bins. A lot needs improving, because Le Crotoy remains a good destination for us motorhome travellers.
