Résidence Valkenburg

Spacious pitches on a newly constructed field for motorhomes and tents. The facilities are indeed far away and outdated; I understood this is because the site is being reorganized in favor of the static caravans. The wastewater drain is difficult to access, so we did not attempt to reach it in order to avoid damage. The restaurant and swimming pool are fine.✦Translating

€107 for two people, two nights and a dog. Too much money for poor service facilities and no bins. The toilet block is too far to walk. We saw people emptying their chemical toilets into the drain at their own pitch. The pitches are large and spacious, but we still had to level.✦Translating

Perfect for visiting Valkenburg by bus, wide pitch, excellent Wi-Fi. The only downside: the showers were cold, with no hot water, and when showering you can see people naked on the floor.✦Translating

Beautiful spot with a view of the Keutenberg. But all the facilities are very far from the camper pitches. Showers, toilets, rubbish, wastewater and toilet emptying are actually too far to walk to. The surroundings are beautiful. So because of the distance to all facilities, we give it only three stars.✦Translating

Fine motorhome site at a TopPark. All pitches have electricity and water. The facilities were clean but very outdated. If they do not get permission for more cabins, they will invest in new or renovated facilities. Beautiful location with a view of the Keutenberg and 5 km from Valkenburg. A good bakery, Bie d’r Bekker, is 1 km away, even for fresh bread and flan on Sundays.✦Translating

Good motorhome site that has just been constructed. The facilities are quite a long walk away and somewhat outdated, but perfectly adequate. The gravel pitches are fairly narrow, which is not a problem in itself, but due to the rain the grass had become a large mud pit.✦Translating

How wonderful that the municipality did not grant permission for placing cabins. This created a lovely spot for motorhomes! Spacious, level pitches with gravel and grass. We paid €24 for one night, including two children. Toilets fine, showers could use renovation. Nice swimming pool as well. Petrol station opposite for a few groceries. One kilometer from the train station, from where you can reach Maastricht city center in 17 minutes.✦Translating

Arrived on May 25 and the website said construction work was underway, which was correct. There are a few things to improve: a withered lawn with lots of water, resulting in a swamp; shower floor with interesting artwork; and a chemical toilet station without rinsing facilities. Everything is still developing, so I think it will turn out great ;-), don't worry, be happy.✦Translating
