Car park, overnight prohibited

No longer free; you pay the same price as at the official campsite. I stayed here anyway because I arrived late. I think €15 is quite a lot... It is quiet at night, though.

Clear prohibition signs against camping and overnight stays of any kind. The adjoining motorhome site is chargeable, so we drove on.

We had a very relaxing night from Saturday to Sunday. Very level, partly lit, and not alone there. I didn’t use the official paid site. Very quiet, apart from one or two cars occasionally driving past with loud music. Perfect for one night while passing through, but having your own toilet is essential.

A large car park under trees and next to a skate park. Lovely and quiet in the evening and at night. We felt safe here. An official paid motorhome site is 60 m further on.

We arrived at 11 p.m. We first went to look at the paid site a little further on, but it had no barrier and the services were charged separately. There are no facilities in the park, but we slept very well and without any noise.

It is a very large car park under the trees. Easy to access and manoeuvre in. Further on there is a paid car park with facilities, but we stayed outside and were fine. The only drawback is that it is not level, and closer to the entrance there is a pub. It is not excessively bothersome.

Very large free car park under trees, with enough space for all motorhomes. On Sunday evening, however, there was traffic until late at night. It seems to be a meeting place for teenagers. With the windows slightly open, we therefore did not have much peace and quiet.

A good one-night stop with a walking trail around the pond.

We stayed here overnight because the site next door costs €10, even though the water is difficult to access. The car park is okay for one night.

We spent the night with our motorhome. The car park is large and spacious, with no problems at all, and very peaceful. At 7:30 a.m. the road and workers start making noise, but nothing unbearable. It is right next to the motorhome area and a lake.

It is a spacious and quiet car park right at the entrance to a lake that has been turned into a swimming area. There are no toilets, or at least we didn’t see any. Ideal for spending one night.

We stayed for two nights. The ground was level and it was peaceful. We accidentally left the keys in the vehicle, fell asleep, and two girls alerted us in the morning. There is a lake converted into a beach (€4 per person); once you enter, you cannot leave. Outside food is allowed, and there is plenty of shade and a children’s slide. There is also a pleasant path around the lake. Right at the entrance there are animals in an enclosure.

Fine for a stopover. There is a bathroom and a park. Plenty of areas for hiking or cycling. The lake would be great if it were very hot. We did not stay overnight.

We stayed only one night to sleep because we left Europa-Park late, and it was only 28 km away. Since we are following the fairytale route, it was on our way and we decided to sleep here. Completely recommendable. We slept very peacefully, it is a very safe area, according to the locals—and we confirmed it ourselves. We would definitely come back.

Certainly okay for parking, but not really for sleeping. The parking area is very sloped because thick roots are pushing up the asphalt everywhere. Directly beside the road. At 11 p.m. it was still so noisy that we preferred to leave.

There is no better or cheaper place to stay overnight in Offenburg! Quiet location, excellent restaurant next door, simply perfect! We have stayed here many times for one night or longer. Large car park for campers or vans!
