Free lakeside parking, feels unsafe

Not recommended for an overnight stay, too unsafe.

The surroundings are neither very inspiring nor really quiet. We preferred to spend the night elsewhere.

Wow... stayed here for one night, very quiet. Perfect. 50 m from the lake.

Very good parking area for spending the night. We had a quiet night. It is beside a small lake with a little beach. Water skiing takes place on the lake, fun to watch for a while. The grounds are clean and the landscaping is well maintained.

It wasn’t our thing: all the buildings around the parking area had graffiti, dog excrement on the parking area, etc. It didn’t invite us to stay. There is really no holiday feeling here.

I stayed here for two nights during the week in July, and both nights were totally quiet. From 7:00 a.m. onward, dog walkers and joggers arrive. Swimming with a sandy beach, free of charge! There are public toilets in the lifeguard building, 2 minutes away. The city centre is 8 minutes by bike. Netto and Aldi are 5 minutes on foot. Free and clean, only for self-sufficient campers. Please keep the place clean.

Super empty, pleasantly quiet and undisturbed—that’s important to me.

Many noisy young people from the neighbourhood drive around until very late at night. We did not feel safe. A very bad night. It’s a shame, because the place itself is really nice.

A genuinely lovely place where swimming in the lake is possible. A café and other shops are nearby, and the city centre is about a 20-minute walk away. We had a peaceful night.
