3 Beim Martbusch, 6552, Berdorf
Been here?
Camping Martbusch is a well-kept, staff-run campsite on the edge of Berdorf's forest, with a small motorhome quickstop area beside it run by the same reception. Sanitary facilities are modern and very clean, though showers need a paid card and are often lukewarm or cold. It's a superb base for hiking, right at the start of marked trails including the popular B2 route, with climbing nearby too. A bistro next door serves food and pre-orderable bread but adds daytime noise; nights are generally quiet. Spots fill quickly, especially the 9-space quickstop, so booking ahead is recommended.

Clean facilities, but the showers are awful. I had planned to bring coins, but they require a special card.Translating
Various hiking routes start from the campsite. Beautiful surroundings! We stayed at the campsite for three nights. There was a lot of sand on the pitch and hardly any grass. Electricity and water are included in the price there. It is different on the camper pitches, which allow a maximum of two nights. Very clean sanitary facilities. The Wi-Fi is very poor and works less often than it doesn’t. The local supermarket in the village is very expensive. Rewe/Aldi are 7 km away.Translating
Tidy campsite, although somewhat large and impersonal. Little space for campers, rather cramped, and lots of Dutch people. Bistro very good! Good service. Sanitary facilities good, although the shower has a push button. Very beautiful hiking routes with rocks, and a very happy dog! Refilling water costs extra. There is also lawnmower noise and children’s noise all day. Fine for one night!Translating
What a wonderful little corner of the earth. We found the combination of the very well-maintained campsite and the surrounding nature extremely beautiful. The staff were super friendly, and although the site was fully booked, the sanitary facilities were very clean. We will definitely come back. Feel-good factor 10 out of 10.Translating
Beautiful campsite with lots of trees. The sanitary area was clean and good. Ideal starting point for hikes. Wheel chocks are needed for some pitches.Translating
Lovely site. We are happy to come back because the region is so wonderful. One star deducted because showers should not cost extra in this price category. Only one cassette emptying point for the large site. The flush there was frozen.Translating
We did not sleep here, but we used the shower. A €10 deposit is exchanged for a card and refunded when the card is returned. Showering costs €1 for eight minutes; warm water took two or three minutes to arrive, and the pressure was weak.Translating
Beautiful campsite, with well-maintained showers and toilets (even toilet paper), and a very friendly welcome. From the campsite we set off to hike routes B2 and E1. Definitely worthwhile. We stayed one night and paid €28: €20 for the camper and two people + €4 for electricity + €4 for showering.Translating
Very well-maintained campsite; the lady at reception was not really friendly. The sanitary buildings were clean and well maintained, but the showers in the rear building only had cold water!Translating
Directly on routes B2 and B5, neatly maintained. Noise from a jackhammer and groups of children; not the best shower system.Translating
Beautiful, tidy campsite, well maintained on the edge of the forest. Disadvantages: noisy because of children and lots of work. The biggest drawback for me was the showers. You have to pay extra, yet they are not properly hot and the spray is poor.Translating
We could only get a camper pitch where the neighbouring restaurant overlooks you, and it is very noisy, with lawn mowing and hedge trimming throughout the day. This is absolutely unnecessary, since the grass is already short.Translating
Located in a beautiful setting in a fantastic, geologically impressive hiking area. The welcome was good and accommodating. Many pitches are spacious, but check them before accepting. Many pitches are sandy. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The shower card does not always work well and is poor value because you have to wait relatively long for hot water. Berdorf is nice for a short visit and coffee.Translating
17–21 August: €125. No reservation, fully booked! One place became available after cancellation, no. 100, well located! Lucky! Quiet despite being very family-oriented and friendly. Solid, clean sanitary facilities. Shower with a card from which euros are deducted: €4 for two people × two showers per day × five days; if you are quick, it works. This is a hiking area, and marked route B2 starts on site; the 2-hour route is superb: nature, cliffs, enormous trees and a climbing area.Translating
Very friendly welcome! The camper pitches are limited and are located between the campsite and the bistro. The bistro serves delicious food and you can order bread daily. The sanitary facilities are very modern and clean! The combination of the nearby bistro and the child- and dog-friendly campsite creates a lot of noise. Very noisy fellow campers from morning until late evening.Translating
Everything is in order. Everything was available.Translating
Perfect starting point for many great hiking routes in the Mullerthal. One point deducted for the somewhat grumpy reception staff; you practically have to force a smile or greeting out of the two of them. There was only space for one night, so afterwards I moved to Bel Vue, where I liked the atmosphere much better. Particularly great: the new sanitary building, very chic!Translating
Very beautiful, peaceful campsite. We stayed here for three days. Dreamlike hiking routes. You can visit Luxembourg City by free bus. Travel time about 50 minutes.Translating
Beautiful campsite on the edge of town, very close to numerous hiking trails. Sufficiently large pitches, some under trees. Sanitary area very well maintained and clean. The whole site is very well organised. Friendly staff. Attractive restaurant with surprisingly good food. Supermarket a few minutes’ walk away. Online booking possible. The site was fully booked at Easter.Translating
Very nice. Dog shower available! Be careful at the entrance: there is a low stone wall!Translating
We stayed at the campsite for three days. It was very quiet, the shower water was warm (tip: we used the family shower), very clean and directly beside hiking trails. A perfect place for our first motorhome holiday.
We paid €26.50 per night for two people and electricity (there is no ACSI rate). When you drive into the campsite you do not expect it, but within a few minutes’ walk you are on hiking route B2. The location is therefore excellent! The campsite itself is not exactly idyllic or quiet: campers and cars come and go during the day, but it is pleasantly quiet at night. A hot shower costs €1 for eight minutes, but there is little hot water.
Magnificent campsite with very friendly and attentive staff, excellent sanitary facilities, a delicious bistro right next door and countless hikes starting directly from the campsite. We planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. About €26 per night for two people and a dog. Highly recommended.
Because of my faulty navigation system, I had to find the campsite by luck. Since I arrived outside office hours, I was allowed to simply choose a pitch according to a note on the office window. Thank you for accepting me at this time of year! The fact that I ended up on the campsite rather than the camper area was handled accommodatingly and kindly the next day.
Basically a beautiful campsite. The location is great for hiking; you can pre-order tasty rolls and so on via the bistro app. Sanitary buildings are modern and relatively clean. Showers cost extra and are nevertheless only cold. An absolute no-go. Unused shower credit is not refunded. At the hand-washing sinks and for washing dishes, however, the water was scalding hot.
Superb campsite! I have rarely seen sanitary facilities this clean and new at a campsite. The pitches are very spacious, very quiet on the edge of the forest, and you can hear the birds—it is truly idyllic. Hiking trails start from the campsite, and there is a magnificent viewpoint barely five minutes’ walk away. The parking area also seems nice, but it is directly opposite the restaurant.
Very nice campsite with direct access to the forest. Playground well maintained. The photo above of the sanitary facilities is no longer accurate; they have since been renovated. There is also a free dishwasher available. Everything is very clean, friendly staff and a tasty, cosy bistro.
Beautifully located, nice staff, clean sanitary facilities. A small playground is in the middle, with a larger one at the edge of the site. There is also a restaurant with bread-roll service and a reception with a small shop. Dogs are very welcome. Wonderful surroundings for hiking.
Well-maintained campsite, friendly operators, multilingual, very clean sanitary facilities, playground nearby and bistro nearby. Beautiful surroundings for walking.
A beautiful campsite with very friendly staff, well-maintained sanitary facilities and very good value for money. Hiking trails directly at the campsite. We liked it.
