Been here?
A free gravel parking area beside a gas station and a busy road, about 5 minutes from the city centre and old walls. Access is easy for motorhomes, and the spaces are level. There is no filling, emptying or toilet service, but one fountain and rubbish containers are available. Traffic can be noisy, especially in the morning, and the gravel can be dusty.

Because there has to be everything, this place exists. Next to a road busy in the morning, gravel and lots of dust, beside a petrol station and 5 minutes from the city walls—but anywhere a little farther away is better than this.Translating
We spent one night here. It is a very quiet place and 5 minutes from the town centre. There are rubbish bins and a fountain.Translating
Good spot to stay overnight, not noisy and gelt safe. Close to the city and a gas station. No services but is also a free parking. Perfect fpr my camper.
Good for people just passing through, to sleep or eat.Translating
Good place to park, easy access for motorhomes, level gravel surface. No services, but there is a fountain. Clean. Next to the road, with some noise at night, but that is normal. Thanks to the town council for thinking of this type of tourism.Translating
Good base to explore the old town, no shade but the spaces are good sizes for motor homes. A 10 minute stroll to the citadel. Small recycling station at the site and another larger one for the town just over the road. We thought it might be quite noisy at night so moved on, but good if you want to spend a few hours there.
Thank you to the town for making this place available! It is a 5-minute walk from the very beautiful old town. We did not sleep here, but it is very convenient!!!Translating
Very convenient for parking, visiting the historic centre and walking around the ramparts. For overnight stays, sleeping next to a boulevard has never been restful for us. It is a shame that the municipality has not taken the opportunity to offer parking along the river, which would be much nicer. We had breakfast there after spending the night on the boulevard—a radical change!Translating
Convenient stopping point near the centre, right below the old walls and cathedral. There are no services, but there is a water tap. Although it is near a road, we had a very peaceful night. Thanks to the municipality for thinking of us motorhome travellers.Translating
Gravel parking area near the centre. No services and the road is right beside it, with quite a lot of traffic noise.Translating
Very well located Close to the old town with its beautiful ramparts.Translating
Fantastic location for visiting the lovely town. Thanks to the town council for considering a different type of tourism.Translating
Ideal quiet stopover to see the historic town. Friendly locals and peaceful sleep. Thank you for providing this service.
Good, level parking for visiting Ciudad Rodrigo. I did not spend the night, but it looks like it would be noisy. Still, it is something.Translating
Very good option for visiting Ciudad Rodrigo, very close—5 minutes’ walk—from the centre. We visited but did not spend the night. Ciudad Rodrigo needs a motorhome area.Translating
A ten out of ten for the location. It lacks water services... A town like Ciudad Rodrigo deserves a complete motorhome area. In any case, a ten.Translating
Very well-located parking for seeing the city, fairly level. As for the noise, I did not notice any; perhaps those parked next to the road with their bed facing that side hear it. I slept on the other side and heard nothing. There is a tap for collecting a little water. I am not giving it 5 stars because of the complete lack of shade.Translating
I slept here for one night. I have no problem with noise, so everything was fine. Close to the historic centre.Translating
Very, very noisy from 6:00 in the morning. Pitches very tight and somewhat uneven. No services of any kind despite being in an urbanised area. Better than nothing, but could be much improved. We would have stayed a couple of days in the area, but one sleepless night was enough.Translating
4 stars because of its proximity to the small, beautiful town. One star is missing because it is directly on a busy road and currently has no services. It was quiet at night, however. Waste is separated, and there are containers for it on the other side of the road.Translating
Parking near the centre, very convenient.Translating
Accessible, level parking, well located for visiting the city.Translating
Very well-located parking for exploring the city. No services. Somewhat noisy at night because it is next to the road.Translating
Good parking, spacious and easy to access, close to supermarkets and with a petrol station right next door. It lacks a service area to allow a longer stay in a city like this.
A very satisfactory bivouac for visiting the historic and magical city with its illuminations during the festive season. The red wine of Castile and León is excellent and inexpensive. Noisy until 10 p.m. Thank you to the municipality. Enjoy your stay in Castile and León.
Good place, level, with plenty of space. Next to the old town. It could have the minimum infrastructure for staying overnight (water and waste disposal), but it is a free place. The avenue is right beside it, so there is quite a lot of noise. Could it be improved? Yes, but it is what is available today!
Great spot for a visit to the town. The old town is beautiful especially at Christmas time with lovely decorations. Just a few minutes walk to the old town, the town has a Mercadona supermarket, Repsol petrol station and many cafes, bars and restaurants.
(+) Location. It is next to the walled area. 5 minutes on foot. Pitches are a good size. There is usually a free space. (-) Being next to the road, there is noise. Cars kept passing during the night. The lighting of the old town and the street decorations from the town hall to the post office are very beautiful. It is worth going.
An essential stop in Ciudad Rodrigo, very well located for sightseeing and buying Iberian cured meats. Thanks for this parking area.
Motorhome parking at the foot of the walled enclosure and beside a road. Despite this, its proximity did not disturb our sleep. There are no emptying or filling services.
Perfect place to visit the city, 5 minutes’ walk away.
We stopped to see the city and had lunch... very quiet, and full during this holiday weekend....
For stopping and sleeping it’s fine, for free. A short walk to the lovely old part of the town, which is worth a few minutes up the hill to see. A little back from the road so not super noisy, central to amenities and right next to fuel garage. No services except a tap
Area for overnight stays only; there is no way to empty waste water, just a tap where you can collect water. It is 5 minutes from the very beautiful historic centre, a walled city that is lovely and has everything. Thanks to the town council; let’s take care of the place.
3 stars because it is accessible and very close to the historic centre, but it is a shame they installed a fountain without bothering to add a drain for grey and black water.
Good place to see the city and rest, near the wall, church and centre. There is only water. Quiet night. Thanks to the community for providing this free place.
Well-located stop, few spaces and well lit. The worst thing is that, being in the town beside the road, passing vehicles and people create quite a lot of noise and little privacy.
Great place to stop. Shops nearby, friendly people, many bars. Good night's sleep.
Parking very close to the historic centre; it lacks a place to empty and fill tanks.
Well-placed parking for visiting the city above, but very noisy. Go instead to Gallegos de Argañán in the countryside: a large free car park with services.
