Camping Lou Broustaricq

The reception and swimming pool are excellent. There is a cold pool and a pleasantly warm pool outdoors. The washroom is run-down, with cobwebs everywhere. The chemical-toilet hose is leaking. There is no running water except at the washroom. The taps at the pitches are turned off. In the morning, cars race across the very long courtyard between reception and the road.

Very expensive, lukewarm-to-cold water, dirty pitches, overcrowded in July.

For the pitches and services dedicated to motorhomes, this campsite does not deserve its four stars. Everything has been invested in mobile homes. Otherwise, the pool and proximity to the lake are very good. Emptying grey water is very complicated; you have to aim into an inspection cover no more than 20 cm wide. Although the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly, they remain dirty because of the large number of users, and they are dilapidated.

Two-night stay in a motorhome. A well-equipped campsite with a nice pool, laundry, restaurant and grocery shop. The lake is just steps away. But if you are going there for quiet nights, forget it! The young people are still partying in the campsite lanes at 3 a.m. and nobody says anything.
