Weekdays become busy with cars from 7 a.m., while nights are generally quiet and the area is illuminated. The parking place is closed from August 20th to September 8th for a local festival.

Spacious place where we had a good night’s sleep. No vehicles were there when we arrived on a Sunday evening, and the next day the parking area was half full. We didn’t hear a thing; the Danes are very respectful.Translating

A parking lot - okay for one night. Close to town center. Be aware that on weekdays the parking lot gets svamped with cars from 7 a.m , so best to park at the far end of the lot.

We stayed here one afternoon and one night. Tønder is really lovely and just a stone’s throw from the parking area. Very peaceful night. Next to the parking area there is an open space where, I think, events are held... perhaps parking is not possible during them.Translating
