Been here?
Parking beside the Loire with a beautiful view of the bridge and nearby castle, with some space available for camping-cars. A 2,20m barrier affects part of the parking, while another section has no barrier. The road and railway are now clearly noisy, with trains reported throughout the night.

Noisy (busy road) and trains passing all night (I assume the schedules have changed, as other comments don’t mention this). Really not great for spending the night.
Parking area with a 2.20 m height barrier and a section without a barrier for motorhomes.
A place with no height limit. It is noisy because the road and railway are right next to it, but it is a very suitable place to spend the day without entering the town.
The best parking area for campers over 7 m, with bins, safe, close to the castle. Although we didn’t sleep there, it seems like a good place to spend the night.
The parking area is on the side next to the railway tracks. There is a rubbish bin and a picnic bench. No height restriction! No prohibition signs. Comment for coordinates: 47.323157, 0.408596
Quite a nice spot, but somewhat noisy because of the busy road a little higher up, the railway, and cars crossing the bridge (though fairly quiet at night). Access is relatively easy for any vehicle under 2.20 m, and you can choose your space. The view is nice, overlooking the bridge and the Loire flowing just below.
Very beautiful, quiet and peaceful site. Below the road leading to the town centre. The traffic noise is not bothersome, nor is the railway noise. We can confirm that this is rabbit country—we disturbed a few when settling in at 10:30 p.m. Magnificent scenery on waking, with a view of the bridge and the Loire. You can stay here without any problem.
