61 Avenida Dom Afonso Henriques, 2000-179, Santarem
Been here?
A large covered car park near Santarem’s bullring and the city centre, with no motorhome services. It is convenient for visiting the old town and castle, but serves buses and heavy vehicles, so noise may continue throughout the night. Night-time security has also been questioned because of suspicious movement between cars.

Very well located but no charm and very noisy all night (normal, it is a bus and lorry car park). Light sleepers should stay away. It does the job, and we felt safe.Translating
We spent one night and do not recommend it. It is unsafe; there was suspicious movement of people between the cars during the early hours. If you need to spend the night, go to Almeirim, 15 minutes away. Overnight parking is free and there is water and electricity at very reasonable prices.Translating
This is not a nice place. It is a large car park with no shade and a continuous movement of vehicles. OK to visit the city, but nothing much to see. We didn’t stay long.
We arrived at night. Large car park, easy to access. We parked at the back near two or three other motorhomes. Quiet, trouble-free night.Translating
It has no facilities, but it is very peaceful and very close to the centre. The car park is very spacious, but tonight we were alone.Translating
No services. But huge carpark and felt safe. 20mins walk to the Old Town and castle, that’s well worth the walk. Lots of shops and eateries. Thanks to the municipality for this area to visit their city.
Car park with many spaces and level ground. Some noise during the night, at weekends.Translating
No services, be self-sufficient. Wednesday 25/09/2024. Perhaps we were unlucky; the youngsters were out partying all night. But it is a lovely town, thanks to the municipality anyway.Translating
Very large car park occupied by many cars. Do not enter through the first entrance; go straight to the back, where there is plenty of space. No services, quiet at night, very close to the town and a shopping centre with a Pingo Doce.Translating
The best place in the city for overnighting, quiet and very spacious, very close to the centre. No services.Translating
Parked here in afternoon to visit the town, busy but plenty of spaces, close to the centre, no restrictions, didn’t feel like spending the night here, no services in Santarem for MH’s, it lacks charm.
Perfect for visiting the city and spending the night. Lots of space and level ground.Translating
We spent a very peaceful night. No services. Level ground. On working days it fills up with cars from early in the day. Five minutes from the city centre, a shopping centre and a laundrette.Translating
