2 Via Firenze, 04024, Gaeta
Been here?
A paid parking area suitable for a short stay while visiting Gaeta and the nearby roccia spaccata. It has no water, electricity or other motorhome services, and awnings and opening windows are not permitted. The current daily price is 20€ at the machine, while app payments have recently cost 21,90€ including commission. Overnight stays can be quiet, and bicycles or scooters are useful for reaching town.

Expensive for the services offered; the only advantage is that, if you have bicycles or a scooter, you can visit Gaeta without going crazy trying to park.
Convenient parking for visiting Gaeta and then leaving. It costs €20 per day. Some people even put out chairs and tables to have lunch, although that is not permitted. No services.
Conveniently located near the first services and with a good surface, but overpriced considering the complete lack of services and supervision. For 24 hours, €20 if paid by debit card at the machine; otherwise €20 plus fees on EasyPark. At almost all hours, staff rightly check that payment has been made by parked campers. If you have a bicycle, it is strategically located.
Quiet, lots of space, €15 for 24 hours at the machine.
Parking without services but in a very convenient location. Spent Easter night there; price for 24 hours was €21.90 when paying with EasyPark. Peaceful night.
Apparently closed today and tomorrow. We were told we could come back tomorrow evening.
Nice spot for a short stop. We stayed overnight. A bit pricey, we paid via app 21.90 EU. Good location, no services, quiet night.
Parking costs €20 plus €2 commission when paying by app because the machine was not working. No services at all, but a quiet place to visit Gaeta and Montagna Spaccata.
Parking without any services, costing €20. A little expensive considering the prices in nearby towns. It is probably what they want: “a quick visit to the town” and then send us away. What a shame....
Not sure why people have reviewed this so bad. It's basic with no facilities but you are very close to a great place. It's cheaper to use the machine. The confusion at the ticket machine is because you need to buy a single ticket for €15 and another for €5. So the total is €20 the machine cannot make a single €20 ticket. Luckily when we arrived the parking attendant showed me how to do it.
€20 for a car park without services—no way.....
Paid parking, €5 per hour, €20 for the whole day. No services, only rubbish disposal.
Paid parking with EasyPark (€17 per day), excellent location for medieval Gaeta, Monte Orlando and the beaches. Services such as grey-water disposal and water fountains are missing, but in this case the location is this car park's winning feature. VWT4
Sorry, but I don't understand how you can pay €20 for a car park without services and without even being able to open the windows. Unbelievable!!!!!!!
Good location, but too expensive. You pay for zero facilities. However, the other car parks in Gaeta seemed too suspicious to us.
Good place, quiet.
€20 without services, and you cannot open the awning or windows. That seems a bit too much to me.
Day and night parking for motorhomes without any services, with three rubbish bins. Cost: €5/hour or €20/24 hours, payment by debit card or coins. Attention: to reach €20, you have to buy one €15 ticket plus one €5 ticket.
Quiet parking both day and night, close to the centre and the sea. €20/24 hours. A shame there are no services of any kind, only rubbish containers.
Expensive parking, €20 for 24 hours, with no services and poorly maintained. It is practically impossible to understand how to pay for the parking when there is no staff, and the solution suggested by the attendants is absurd: pay €15 for the whole day and then get a second €5 ticket for a shorter period. I gave it one star only because of the location.
Parking costs €20 per day, which is a bit excessive considering there are no services—no water and no electricity.
A quiet and well-located parking area, but €20 in winter with no services and a very complicated payment machine is expensive.
€20 without services is unjustified!! Quiet parking near the centre, ideal for visiting Gaeta.
We stayed at this parking area, which is convenient and strategically located for visiting Gaeta. The traffic wardens were friendly and very helpful. No services.
Stopped for one night and visited the town. Convenient, quiet and level, with no services. New campervan rates: €20 for 24 hours or €5 per hour. The parking meter accepts coins and cards, but the maximum rate that can be set is €15, so you need to buy another ticket to make up the difference. There are no instructions about this. Luckily, a parking attendant was there to help us.
Quiet place, but €20 per day without any services is unacceptable.
Convenient parking near the centre. You feel safe because other campers are present. No services, but two nights free. Gaeta is stunning.
We spent two nights here. The historic centre is very pretty, as are the small pedestrian streets by the harbour. There is a beautiful beach a five-minute walk away. It’s a shame there are no services. Make sure you prepare before coming.
The location is good for visiting Gaeta. But this is nothing more than a run-down pitch. There are also several long-term campers on the site. After a short visit to the town, we drove on. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend the night there, especially as no services are provided.
Excellent service-free parking area in a strategic location for stopping in Gaeta. The town centre, beach and Montagna Spaccata are all within walking distance. If it also offered electricity, it would be perfect!
Very convenient parking for the beach, 600 metres away. €15 for 24 hours is perhaps a little too much for a simple space that is not even particularly shaded. I would recommend that the council install at least a water tap for filling up; for €15, I think that is the minimum.
