A large daytime parking area in a quiet location beside Dömitz Fortress on the Elbe. Three spaces are specifically reserved for motorhomes, with a public toilet directly at the parking area. The fortress, old town, Elbe cycle paths and riverside walks are easily reached. Overnight stays are not allowed.

Perfectly fine as a daytime parking area! From here you can visit the citadel and/or the old town, or take extensive cycling and hiking trips along the Elbe dyke. We cannot comment on the condition of the public toilet. It cost 50 cents to use, so we opted for our free motorhome toilet.
Overnight stays are not permitted.
Nice view, toilet nearby (€0.50), cycle path nearby, next to the citadel.
The no-overnight-stays sign is back at the entrance to the parking area. We drove on.
Good place to park and spend the night. Public toilet with an access machine available (50 cents).
