Mountain parking, windy and uneven

Plenty of room for everyone. several places to stop at the straight. The weather might play some tricks.

Wonderful place, unique in its way. Located right next to Sweden’s highest public road. Fantastic nature and plenty of room for many vehicles—26 here tonight. Highly recommended!

We went for an evening hike here and stayed overnight. Many campers here, but there is also plenty of space.

40+ campers, windy, mosquitoes—but what a view... Lovely to be able to stand freely without any hassle.

A wonderful overnight stay, including a herd of reindeer. No traffic on the road at night.

I love this place, it's like a home to me! But it saddens me to see how people abuse the flat ground and drive onto to the surrounding nature. The Right of Public Access does not apply to vehicles! The line between actual parking area and nature is somewhat hazy here, but I can see some campervans far, far out in the terrain. Shame on you.

Pure nature all around. It can also get stormy. Still, it’s wonderful. There were only a few motorhomes overnight. It seems to be tolerated. Please take your rubbish with you; there are no bins on site.

We spent a quiet night here. A hike to the nearby mountain was currently rather adventurous in places, but worthwhile.

We were alone all evening and there was no traffic. A dreamlike night in breathtaking scenery.

Amazing place with unique scenery! Hikes start from the gravel, uneven parking. Reindeer pass by, and you can paint a stone for the memorial. No toilets, trash bins, or picnic tables. Wild vibe unchanged since my teen years. People, take your toilet paper! Great spot to spend the night, very windy but unforgettable.

At almost 1,000 metres above sea level, we had a beautiful 360-degree view. Several campers were spread out across the very spacious site. The night was very peaceful. In the morning it was still 10 degrees inside our closed camper.

A very beautiful place with a view and location, but no services whatsoever. And dear van campers without toilets: stay at home, use public toilets, or change the way you travel, otherwise these places will be banned because of you!

We spent two nights in this high-altitude car park. Panoramic 360° views of the mountains, with a very good road up. Natural and wild plateaus, with a magnificent hike nearby. A place I highly recommend! You must be 100% self-sufficient; there is nothing here except you… and nature.

Nice place. Unfortunately, the experience is ruined by people who lack the ability to park — especially those with motorhomes. In this case, it was a Dutch family who couldn’t park properly."

We parked about 100 metres below the hill. We took an evening walk and placed a stone by the large memorial stone. Fantastic nature with wonderful views and abundant wildlife right nearby; for that, five out of five stars.

Beautiful 360° view. Excellent site for birdwatching. Busy but quiet parking area. Camping-style behaviour should be avoided. The only disturbance was a car passing twice at midnight, honking its horn.

Stunning 360 view. One of the most beautiful spots I've ever parked on. Raindeers passing through the area. Show respect and keep this place clean, this is a parking spot, not a campsite.

Already a great place with such a wonderful panoramic view. But there are no services at all, not even a rubbish bin. During our visit (18 June 2025) it was extremely windy (the motorhome was shaking), and there were eight motorhomes parked on both sides of the road. All in all, we had a good, undisturbed night. We saw reindeer further down among the bushes, including some with small calves. Adorable.
