Beach parking, significant road noise

A perfectly suitable place to spend a night by the sea. Functional toilets (bring toilet paper), but the showers and sinks do not work (there is still drinking water). There were few campers that evening and plenty of space. A few trees provide shelter from the sun. A car comes to sell bread in the car park around 8 a.m.

A man aged around 40 or older, wearing a cap and a burgundy T-shirt, has been walking around the motorhomes since this morning. He is sitting on a chair near the sanitary facilities and the entrance. Be careful with your belongings. It's a shame there aren't more police patrols around here.

Free car park with a 2.20 m height barrier. The beach is a few meters away, but you cannot see the sea from the car park behind the dune. Bins available. The baker came by today at 8–8:30 a.m. Very little shade. This car park is next to the paid motorhome area, which has water-filling and waste-disposal services.

Nice place with quite a lot of spaces for vans under 2.20 m at the end of May. Basic toilets with doors that do not lock.

Good spot, convenient for going to the beach, and not very busy at this time of year. Quite a few motorhome users park right next door, which feels reassuring when going to the beach. However, be careful if you are a woman traveling alone. A man, a local, followed me for several days and parked behind me whenever possible, even at nightfall. Stay cautious.

There were spaces during the April holiday period; it was not overcrowded yet. Parking opposite the sea, convenient for walks, swimming, fishing, and cycling (a large cycle path connecting Sète to Marseillan). Major downside: railway tracks and a road directly behind, so it is relatively noisy in the evening and early morning. Pastries are delivered directly to the car park from 8:30 a.m.

Meh. All the facilities, but close to the road and train. Beach nearby. But what a hassle parking motorhomes 7 km from Sète! Not everyone has bicycles!

The toilets unfortunately smell and are dirty. Since there are no toilet brushes, they are sprayed down with water once in the morning. The road and train can clearly be heard, and in season the baker comes at 8 a.m. Downside: people break into vehicles here when everyone is at the beach or out cycling. For example, we observed a man who came every day and stayed for about 2 hours to watch everything.

Free overnight parking for vehicles lower than 2.10 meters. Right next to a paid parking area for larger campers and directly behind the beach. I could smell and hear the sea from my bed. There is a lifeguard post on the beach and public toilets, although they are not particularly well maintained. The site is next to the main road from Sète to Agde and the railway line.

Perfect area for parking during the day or spending the night, right by the beach.

Perfect for one night. We arrived very late; people were already set up, but the spaces were large and level, so there was no problem finding a place. Right by the beach. Busy road and railway, but quiet at night! There are toilets behind the automatic barriers for the motorhome car park—useful, but very dirty!

Perfect parking spot for one night right by the sea! In summer many campers with vans/cars stay there, but there is always something free. One minute on foot to the sea. Toilet available, but dirty. Motorhomes have to pay; cars up to 2.20 m high are free. Highly recommended!

Quiet, shady parking area with the beach opposite and a cycle path for riding along the coast and going as far as Cap d'Agde.

After having to report the theft of a racing bike to the police in Sète, we returned to the neighboring camper site. To our surprise, we had to pay another €13 to enter again after 2 hours. So we parked for free next door in the car park. Fine spot, several campervans. Very close to the beach, with more space than the neighboring camper site, which costs €13. A pleasant night.

We spent a few nights here. It is a very safe car park, with a kind of community of users who help one another and keep an eye on the place. The gendarmerie also patrols. Parking spaces are level and slightly shaded. Swimming just a few steps away; relatively quiet.

We stayed for two nights on the 19th and 20th of June. The ground was gravel, so there was little dust in the air. The beach was great and almost deserted. Neither the train nor the road bothered us much. We had a great night's sleep.

Very quiet and directly on the beach. Free for smaller vehicles. The farther back you drive, the fewer vehicles there are, and there is another beach access where almost nobody goes.

Great free car park directly behind the dunes with beach access and toilets. The outdoor showers were unfortunately still out of order for us. It is directly next to the paid car park for vehicles over 2.2 meters high.

Perfect, right in front of the beach. There is a train passing, but once asleep we did not pay attention to it. The toilets are closed all day, and we did not use the showers. Part of the car park was being used for filming the series “Demain nous appartient,” so we left. Please leave this place clean; bins are available all along the area. Dogs are not allowed along the entire beach.

Once again my first stop on the way to Spain. Directly on the beach. In “winter” it is not crowded and relatively quiet despite being right next to the road. Toilets and a waste-disposal area available.

Quiet place, few people in the middle of August. A little noise at night because a road and railway line run alongside it. Bathrooms a little dirty, but there is drinking water. The location, 100 meters from the incredible beach, is amazing ☀️

Great spot right on the seafront. The road runs just behind it and is a little noisy, but it is constant noise, so it is bearable. Clean public toilets. Other vans stayed with us. Very safe. Delicious morning swim. Thanks for the recommendation.

Great! We went there two years ago: easy beach access, clean and quiet place.

It is a very good place if your van is less than 2.20 m tall. Our Vito with roof tent barely made it through because the height barrier is not correctly set. We could not enter some other places marked 2.20 m. To get water, you have to enter the motorhome area and pay €13 per night or find another solution. There is a really good atmosphere, and the train noise is not too bad. Our girls did not even notice it. One of the best places in the area, considering it is free.
