60 Amundsenstraße, 14469, Potsdam
Been here?
Free illuminated parking spaces near Sanssouci Park and about 20 minutes on foot from Sanssouci Palace. The spaces are mostly suitable for smaller campers, with some areas not completely level. Recent reports describe quiet nights and convenient access to the park, although a parking prohibition sign now stands at the beginning of the street. A 7.5m motorhome found it suitable for daytime parking.

As of March 2026, there is a no-parking sign at the beginning of the road. The spaces on the allotment-garden side would be ideal, but are no longer permitted! What a shame!
Nice level parking area among trees beside a road, about a 20-minute walk from Sanssouci Palace.
I'm not sure if I would stay here overnight, but if there's space (our motorhome is 7.5 meters long), then it's great as a daytime parking spot for visiting the gardens in Potsdam.
We stayed here for 1.5 days, Friday to Saturday. It is very quiet at night, the park is just 100 metres away, and Netto is around the corner. Perfect! There were 3–4 free spaces the whole time.
We stayed overnight here to visit the palace. Several unfriendly neighbours drove past at night honking their horns. Not recommended!
Great for parking while visiting the palace and park.
It was very quiet throughout the night, with very little traffic. But not all spaces are completely level.
Perfect place to park when visiting the palaces
Great starting point for a walk to the palaces in the park.
