9I Calle Fuente, 02520, Chinchilla de Monte-Aragón
Been here?
A spacious, clean and level free motorhome area with separate drinking and rinsing water connections, grey-water drainage and waste disposal. It is generally quiet, although some nighttime noise from nearby sports courts has been reported. The attractive historic town, castle, restaurants and tapas bars are within walking distance, with several stairs. Parking is partly restricted on Thursday mornings for the market, and extra care with belongings is advisable after a reported nighttime theft attempt.

A very beautiful place, but on day 3 a group of young people climbed onto our motorhome at 2 a.m. and tried to steal our solar panels! We chased them, but unfortunately did not catch them…… Watch your belongings! The youngsters have sticky fingers!!! Otherwise it was a very beautiful place, a great shame about this problem.Translating
Nothing more to add to the other comments: a beautiful, well-maintained and peaceful area. The village is very beautiful.Translating
Quiet, clean, nice fruit for sale at the Thursday market. Still spaces to park on a Wednesday night, just closer to the road.Translating
Like all the comments say, a clean and pleasant area. There is also a very clean laundrette 300 metres away. A few shops in this beautiful village. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
what a great park up, level, water and a hilltop hamlet for exploring. loved this spot and would definitely come backTranslating
Very quiet and large area for resting, although at night there is some noise from the sports courts, but it is not too bothersome. There is a small park nearby. Thanks to this village for providing such an area.Translating
Very comfortable, quiet, level and with some shade. The village is very beautiful and worth seeing.Translating
Thank you to the mayor for this pleasant spot, with water and waste disposal—what more could you ask for? A very quiet night. Note that there is a market on Thursdays.Translating
Very comfortable and peaceful place to spend the night. Easy access, safe and close to the village. Ideal for a relaxing night in a camper.Translating
I think everything has already been said in the previous comments… wonderful, and thanks to the town hall for this initiative.Translating
Perfect for a very peaceful night. Market on Thursday morning (parking prohibited that day).Translating
Can you give 6 stars as well? This is the perfect place. So quiet, so central, so pretty in nature. I spent two wonderful days here. Wonderful historic town, and the surrounding countryside with so much nature invites you to cycle. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Brilliant, peaceful, level and quiet, at the foot of the village. If it had shade, it would be perfect.Translating
Recommended. Beautiful, peaceful and close to the village. The restaurant in the square is highly recommended. Thanks to the town hall for making it possible.Translating
Very nice area with a magnificent village!Translating
No wonder it has such good reviews. The night before a public holiday, you sleep in complete silence… It is worth taking a detour to rest here. Thank you, Chinchilla. On Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. parking is not allowed because of the weekly market.Translating
Very spacious and comfortable. With toilets, grey- and black-water disposal, and a water fountain.Translating
Very good parking area, clean and with filling and emptying facilities. Very peaceful and surrounded by motorhomes.Translating
Great place - beautiful village with castle and cave houses. Lots to see, but steep! I was unlucky in that a small noisy group arrived at midnight to play football and party till 4am…on a Weds night! Toilets are only open when the café is open. Other services all good. Translating
Thank you Chinchilla for providing a quiet and clean area next to the beautiful town. services all good. Translating
Large, clean and safe area with free water filling and waste disposal. Very close to the village.Translating
Very large and peaceful parking area with plenty of parking possibilities, without being packed together. All services are free, but there is no electricity. Beautiful authentic village—do not be afraid of the stairs! Prohibited from Wednesday evening until Thursday at 4 p.m. on market day. Thank you to the municipality. Tobacco shop, grocery shop and bakery (typically Spanish bread, resembling brioche!), good cakes.Translating
Quiet, clean place. We spent 2 nights here without any problems. All services except electricity. Lots of space, ideal for large motorhomes or vehicles with trailers. The village is deserted, but we visited it and walked up to the castle. Albacete is 16 km away by motorcycle, very quick because of the dual carriageway. A really great place!Translating
Good parking area, spacious with fairly level pitches. Water and waste disposal worked well. The village is charming and the walk up to the castle is nice. Stayed two nights, very quiet.Translating
A top area!! Huge, very level and with all services. A charming village. Thanks to the town hall for this place.Translating
Thank you to the town for this beautiful pitch.Translating
We stayed one night and it was very good, very peaceful and everything was perfect. Many thanks to Chinchilla Town Hall for providing this free area.Translating
Very beautiful village, charming streets and the delicious smell of freshly baked bread. Perfect overnight stay with water services. Recommended.Translating
We spent a very pleasant night here. It has all the services. Thanks to the town hall of this village for thinking of us. Very beautiful village.Translating
Incredible area with all services free of charge, a multi-sports court right next to it and a children’s area. There is also a snack bar where you can have a drink. The village is right next to it; there are not that many steps, and it has incredible heritage.Translating
The place is suitable for an overnight stay, but the town seems completely empty and abandoned. Because of the weekly Thursday market, camping is not allowed (having chairs or a table outside at the site), which makes you feel somewhat trapped when nothing else is happening. A good place to sleep overnight, but not recommended as one of Spain’s “must-see” towns or places.Translating
Thanks to the town hall for the space and services. Very peaceful night; we are just passing through. There were more than 30 vehicles staying overnight. Thank you.Translating
Thanks for the large, beautiful and quiet pitch (also suitable for XXL motorhomes with trailers; only the wastewater disposal is hardly manageable for XXL vehicles). The town with its small streets, castle and cave houses is worth visiting. The bread and pastries at Panaderia Chinchilla on Calle Plus Ultra are delicious :-) We stayed for three days and will definitely return someday.Translating
We were there in March, but the toilets were closed.Translating
Very good area, close to the village and peaceful.Translating
