Right by the river. Until around 11 p.m., cars with loud music; after that we had a quiet night.✦Translating

Good pitch, without services, right beside a cycle path. During the day you can watch the boats. The night was mostly quiet, except for teenagers who “test” their cars there, spinning their tires and revving the engines... But after 30 minutes it was quiet again.✦Translating

Very quiet at night. Interesting to watch the ships going through the lock. Level pitch. Long walks along the Maas are possible. Ideal with a dog.✦Translating

Nice place close to water but a lot of party with screaming and fast cars/mopeds during the late evening. When all that cooled down it was a really quiet and calm place.

Flat parking area opposite the canal. People come and park their cars to smoke joints in the evening, but apart from that it is quiet from midnight onward. What is really great is that it is the starting point for quite a few hikes! There are lots of nature trails right behind it!✦Translating

Packed full at weekends! With 7 meters you already have trouble finding a space, because concrete beams act as a barrier after about 5 meters. Good for anyone with air suspension who can raise the rear of their vehicle!!✦Translating

Interesting stay. Cars kept coming all evening, people went into the bushes and then came back and drove off. At 9.30 pm some dudes came and hung around talking at their cars. Same time a lonely dude came and stood at his car talking on the phone and smoked weed for hours. He left at midnight. Then at 2 am a drone came flying around for 20 mins. After that the night and morning was quiet.

By the canal and the road running alongside it. Beautiful view of the barges passing through. Nice hikes on the other side toward the Meuse, with bird observatories. Very quiet at night. You sleep with the hum of the barge engines and the honking of the geese. Parking secured by camera.✦Translating

02/06/24 Great place to stop by the Albert Canal on this level concrete parking with CCTV and floodlights at night. 800mtr from Lanaye lock and a bus stop for Maastricht. Some traffic in the day but nothing at night so we slept soundly.

Parking area by the lock. Moderate traffic during the day, little traffic at night. Suitable for 5 to 6 motorhomes/campervans up to 6 meters. Not an overnight spot for me, but good as a starting point for bike rides.✦Translating
