Recent information describes a pleasant, quiet night, while daytime traffic from cars and bicycles can increase in good weather. There is no infrastructure, and the river beach is a short walk away.

It is an unsigned parking area with no prohibition sign, so we parked there. We had a pleasant, quiet night. A few meters to the right of the parking area, you can reach the Weser.
The place is currently closed due to construction work. Otherwise, this is a simple place to spend the night and is designated as a motorhome site by the municipality on maps.
Perfect starting point for bike tours on Harriersand. If you want to be woken by cars at 7 a.m., this is the place for you. Not recommended after rain. There is nature, but no designated nature reserve. There is also no information that motorhomes are prohibited on the island.
Ignoring the previous reviewer, we spent a restful night here. Nobody was bothered, and nature was just as beautiful the next morning as it had been in the evening. It obviously suffered no damage. So don't let yourselves be put off! However, the place is not suitable for anyone who is uncomfortable with solitude.
