Unnamed Road, SP3, Salisbury
Been here?
This is a lay-by on the Fonthill Estate beside a fairly quiet road, suitable for daytime stops. Overnight parking is prohibited by a prominent sign. There are no facilities, limited giffgaff reception, frequent dog walkers and some delivery traffic across the lake. The Beckton Arms is ~10 minute walk or 2 minute drive away.

Very beautiful place, but a sign says that overnight stays are not allowed.
I can imagine it’s a good spot to stay for the day but big sign now saying no overnight parking july 2023. We did not stay.
Nice place but close to the road. Little further, after the first to the left, there is a small parking bay, as well next to the road but enclosed by some bushes.
Beautiful spot, no facilities and a lot of dog walkers. The lake looks nice and clean but signs saying no water activities at all. A fair amount of trucks delivering and picking up from the bonded warehouse across the other side of the lake. 5 mins walk to the lovely local pub - bring your salmon chinos to visit. Space for about 5 cars max.
