Lakeside parking, busy weekends

Simple and good overnight stop, with large, flat areas. Very clean toilets, probably completely new. A good running track is right outside.✦Translating

Beautiful place for swimming, cycling, walking and visiting the Cold War museum. It was not busy despite being early July. However, the toilets are still very dirty. Restaurant at the boat rental.✦Translating

After two noisy nights in Vilnius and Kaunas, this was exactly what we needed. In October, the entire beautiful site was deserted for autumn; the boats rocked cheerfully at the docks and there was absolute silence. After a wonderfully quiet night and breakfast at one of the many seats, we hiked along the Seles...—highly recommended!✦Translating

Great place, with pits for fire, table, beautiful lake with possibility to rent boats. It was a bit busy when we were there but mainly people camping with their tents on the grass. We arrived later in the evening and could park without problem. In the morning then, around 11h more people arrived to spend the day, making bbqs so it was less quiet. only minus are the toilets, very dirty.✦Translating

Very nice place with direct access to the lake and several fire pits. We were here during the week at the end of August and it was not busy. In the evening, a fox came by and searched the picnic benches for food.✦Translating

Good location with a view of the lake. Three large rubbish bins. Many benches with tables facing the lake. Boat rental. Heavy use by locals at weekends. Storks and foxes also come right up to the motorhome during the day.✦Translating

Great place for relaxing. Bike paths, boat rental (price vary from 5 to 20 € per hour depending on boat type), lake perfect for swimming. With camper you can park on parking lot or meadow above it. Lot of people during the day, quite at night. We stayed 2 nights.✦Translating

Had a very quiet night. The parking lot below is intended only for cars; all campers park above on the meadow. The portable toilet was replaced in the morning. Weak LTE. It gets noisy in the morning when work starts (9 a.m.). The site is free. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!✦Translating

Very beautiful place with access to the lake. The lake water is crystal clear. Toilets and many benches available. There is also a boat/SUP rental directly at the site. Entrance for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and only without trailers.✦Translating

Excellent free site. At the beginning of June there was hardly anyone around. Better not to park directly by the forest because of mosquitoes. Portable toilet perfectly fine. Beautiful lake, tasty restaurant at the harbor. Definitely worth a stop.✦Translating

Beautiful place for free camping; we stayed here for three nights. The toilet right at the site should be approached with caution. A little farther down by the lake, next to the boat dock, there are French toilets on the right side of the road; they are just about acceptable. A bike ride around the lake is wonderful, mostly flat and passing right by the site. The Cold War Museum is not far away. This cycle path also passes it, about 11 km.✦Translating

In mid-April everything was still in winter mode. Very beautifully located; we were alone. However, anyone dependent on the local toilets is definitely in the wrong place.✦Translating
