Been here?
A small riverside wild spot with a sandy track, a private beach and a firepit, about 300m from the road. Recent comments describe a quiet, sheltered place for at least 3 motorhomes, but recommend only small vehicles because access is narrow and uneven. The parking was reported closed with logs on 2026-07-27.

Great place for the night away from the road. Space for at least 3 motorhomes. Nice fire pit. In dry weather, the sandy track is easy to drive; it is only 300 m from the road.
Very nice place, somewhat away from the road by the river and wonderfully quiet. Access is a little narrow and bumpy, but manageable, even in wet weather. I would recommend only small vehicles. Please, please let us treat this wonderful nature more respectfully: stop cutting down trees, stripping birch bark, and pick up your damn cigarette butts!
I would avoid this place in summer, lots of mosquitoes. It is by a river and a small sandy beach; I did not dare drink the water because there were quite a few livestock animals nearby. Quiet and peaceful and sheltered from the road.
We stayed here alone in our motorhome. If you do not mind hearing the goats with their bells around their necks around the clock, you have nothing but nature around you. Unfortunately, there is a lot of toilet paper scattered around.
It used to be a magical little spot in nature. I am ashamed of my fellow campers for ruining such places so badly. In summer 2022 I counted nine fire pits in a very small area, plus two fire pits by the road. The riverbanks are covered with toilet paper and human feces. The beach looks like a sandbox.
Beautiful place, quiet and peaceful. We were here all alone. To everyone after us: PLEASE TAKE YOUR GARBAGE and DON‘T LIT FIRES! Norway has a drought and fires in the woods always have the risk of burning woods.
