Quiet parking, overnight prohibited

The place is great, except that overnight stays are not allowed. There are signs, and around 10 p.m. they made us leave.

They came to drive us away at night, taking photos of our license plate and saying it was private property.

Indeed, a quiet and relaxed place to stay. I enjoyed the whole afternoon and would also spend the night here. No facilities, but a view of the Rhine and hardly any road traffic. The bridge coming from Germany is narrow, controlled by traffic lights, and only permitted up to 3.5 tonnes, so there is little traffic. So, if you are self-sufficient and want peace and quiet, it is a great place.

For us, a great, quiet overnight spot near the motorway while passing through. The lack of infrastructure is no problem for self-sufficient motorhomes. We would gladly come back.

If you are just looking for somewhere to stop, yes, it is a quiet parking area. It is a shame that you cannot park beside the Rhine without breaking the law; there are prohibition signs everywhere. We went farther on.

Wonderfully quiet! No one bothering you! It doesn't matter whether there is anything to see here... You can walk for kilometers along the Rhine with your dogs without meeting anyone else! That is what really matters!!!

According to Google, the house is permanently closed! Moreover, you cannot see anything from the parking area. Go to the other side for a very beautiful view with the boats.
