L'Ubac et Camp de Baous, 30440, Sumène
Been here?
Parking beside a disused railway station and next to the fire station, with space along the old railway line. A water tap is available on the station square behind the car park, and nearby toilets are within about 50 m. The area is shaded, has little traffic, and can be calm overnight. Communal employees may be present from evening until morning, and the village is welcoming.

An urban area? You are in Sumène, deep in the Cévennes, next to a disused railway station, at the foot of the Ranc de Banne, and you call this an urban area! Where do you live?
Near an urban area.
Great spot for me as a woman travelling alone; I felt safe. The municipal employees were there from evening until morning, behind the fire station. Not much traffic. A small shaded corner, toilets next to the tennis building, though not right beside the site—about 50 metres away. Very welcoming and friendly people.
