Been here?
A welcoming pub stop beside the Grand Union Canal, with a private, flat-stoned car park and secluded spaces at the back. Three electric hook-ups are available at £10 per night, with toilets open during pub hours. The pub serves food, with mains around £16-20, and canal-side tables provide views of passing boats. Call ahead to confirm space, especially because the pub is popular and closes around 10 pm.

We ❤️❤️ this beautiful old bar/restaurant, food is lovely with a great atmosphere & very welcoming, they have 3 EHU @ £10p/n toilets etc open during pub hours.
New owners and they are very welcoming, had a few beers and stayed the night, lovely place next to the canal.
We loved staying over night here, such a true hidden gem. Private flat stoned car park at the back of the pub. Landlord is very welcoming, food very tasty & then enjoyed drinks on the canal bank tables watching canal boats go by in the sunshine. By far one of the best places we’ve stayed in our camper van.
easy access. on the canal side. simple food speedily available. mains ~£16-20.
Nice, friendly pub with good food. Fairly busy road nearby, but I expect it'll be reasonably quiet overnight. Great place to stop for the night.
Stopped off here last night, Had a lovely roast dinner with my partner, We stayed in our campervan free of charge, but I did ring up a couple of hours before we got there. All the staff were great and food was better.
awesome place to stay, food is amazing, staff is amazing well worth coming. we went to the two boats inn down the road first and it was utter crap ! decent size carpark with a ehu.
Stayed last week for a night after moving on from another nearby parkup that turned out to be unsuitable due to locals. This was a great overnighter, no problems at all. Worth the £10 to feed safe. Would recommend
Great night stay, food was great and staff very welcoming
We ate well in a pleasant atmosphere, received good advice, and the food tasted excellent. Afterwards we spent a quiet night beside the canal. In the morning we watched one of the many houseboats being lifted into the water by crane.
we stopped here for one night -nice safe carpark on the banks of the Canal. lovely Canal walks and safe field for dogs to exercise just opposite. The staff at The Boat Inn were welcoming and helpful and the food was amazing. No dogs in the pub bar or restaurant after 6 but we were made more than welcome in the garden and there were plenty of others dining Alfresco too. A big thumbs up from us.
Excellent visit, Sue and her Team (Josh, Sam & Sheila) made us very welcome. The food is superb, the Hay Smoked Chicken Supreme was sublime and myHusbands Rib Eye Steak was cooked to perfection. EHU is free if you eat/drink at the pub, but would suggest ringing to ensure availability. Would recommend 100%!
Didn't stay, but told £20 for EHU even if eating in pub when rang to enquire.
