Chemin de Jouarres, 34210, Olonzac
Been here?
A free parking area on three levels beside Lake Jouarès, surrounded by vineyards and trees. It is currently a construction site, with uneven ground and noise and bright lighting from the nearby café. A height barrier is marked at 2 m, although one measurement gave 2m13. Parking is authorized for 24h, but the site is recommended for parking rather than overnight stays.

Absolutely recommended only for parking, not for overnight stays. Find a nicer spot around the lake. Uneven, with noise and bright lights from the café until late. Currently a construction site.
Very pleasant, peaceful place. We are going to spend the night here because there are a few motorhomes, so at least we are not alone. A snack bar next to the car park. We will come back.
The highest barrier measured 2.13 m; free parking is permitted for 24 hours. My van is 2.17 m, but I got in anyway... the pavements are not very high!
The barrier is marked at 2 m, but our 2.10 m van fits. Quiet place. Nobody in the car park, unlike the one below, where there were four or five motorhomes.
Absolutely nobody here at this time of year. We had the place to ourselves. Nice walk around the lake. The toilets and access to drinking water are closed for the season.
Lots of space and trees, but noisy in the evening. We went down to the lower car park; it is in full sun but really right by the water, which is pleasant. The police came by twice during the night to check that everything was okay.
Height barriers limited to 2 m have been installed at the entrance and exit.
Good area for spending the night; there is shade. The only drawback is that there is too much light from the streetlamps at night, but otherwise it is perfect.
