Henry-Dunant-Weg, 65520, Bad Camberg
Been here?
This is a free motorhome parking area on the marked left-hand side of a larger car park, with 10 separate but narrow spaces. Seasonal water costs €0,10/10ltr and electricity costs €0,80/kWh; grey and black water can be disposed of in the same sink. The old town is about 5 minutes away on foot and a bakery about 3 minutes, with no through traffic and sports facilities nearby. Some spaces may be occupied by long-stay vehicles, and the layout can cause puddles after rain.

Good place to stop on the way and see the town. Touch the screen first for the water, otherwise you will lose your credit, as happened to me.
When we arrived, the site was occupied by three motorhomes. Two apparently had been set up for long-term camping. It became very full in the evening. The night was also very restless, with voices and other working noises from one camper. Thanks to the town for providing such a place, but we will not come here again.
Everything you expect from a motorhome area. Thanks to the municipality. It is just a shame that the electricity post was completely blocked by a camper that is clearly staying here longer than three days, or intends to.
A heartfelt thank you to the municipality for this motorhome area. Everyone, please keep it clean so it stays that way.
Everything as described. At the moment, however, there is festival sound amplification during the children's holiday activities.
Excellent! Thanks to the municipal administration. Charming town.
Spacious parking area with 10 separate but narrow spaces for campers. Service area for grey water, black water and cassette toilet in one pit. Water costs €0.10 per 10 liters. There are four electricity points at €0.80/kWh. Quiet surroundings. Beautiful town center a 5-minute walk away. Bakery 3 minutes away.
We like this motorhome area very much: pleasant little town, large meadow with a volleyball net, basketball hoop and goal, lots of greenery, and all of it free. Thanks to the municipality.
Attractive old town and good restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The lack of marked pitches is somewhat inconvenient, as are the puddles that make some pitches unusable after rain. The toilet disposal is also poorly designed. Without thorough rinsing, it is very unpleasant. Many thanks to the town for this peaceful, beautiful and free motorhome area!
Perfect place to spend the night. Quiet. Great little regional bakery three minutes away. Large sports field next door. Pitch layout not ideal.
24 April 2026. Parking area set apart from the center, but still somewhat busy. There are not many dedicated spaces, but you should always find a place for the night. Paid dumping and filling facilities; waste disposal is possible. The very charming center can be reached on foot. Free parking. Thank you!
Get the local long-term campers off the site! We wanted to see the town, but everything was full of vehicles with LM license plates.
Update (therefore no rating): There are only four electricity connections for eight pitches, each 16 A. The water terminal also dispenses small quantities of water, 10 cents per 10 liters. Little shade in summer.
Level, flat pitches; leveling blocks are not needed. The car park is quite full and the motorhomes keep too much distance from each other. Otherwise a good and quiet place. Thanks to the town.
The site is free, and a lot is offered for that: quiet, central, rubbish bins, paid electricity and waste disposal, walking opportunities, a charming old town, friendly residents. And hey, puddles—we are campers.
Beautiful town. Parking almost in the center, quiet. Thank you to the town authorities.
The access from Mühlweg is blocked by fixed bollards. You can only reach the site via Bahnhofstraße. Google Maps does not know this. It is not recommended for filling and waste disposal. There is only a hole in the ground for grey water, where everyone also disposes of black water, with no way to rinse. Not for the faint-hearted. There used to be a water station, but it is completely built over. Apparently they do not want campers here; in that case, they should simply close the site.
The town center is very beautiful. The site, however, is neglected, the pitches are narrow, and there are puddles when it rains. Supposedly there is toilet disposal and water, but this is either incorrect or has been removed for the winter without information. Some people dispose of their toilets in the grey-water channel, so it smells at the front. The electricity post is in the far corner, payment is awkward and requires topping up via PayPal. Positive: free and close to the town center.
Level, paved site, but without any charm. Fine for spending one night. The electricity post is not in the middle of the pitches but at the rear; the farther away you are, the longer the power cable needs to be. The grey-water drain is apparently being misused to empty toilet cassettes, causing it to become blocked. Very inconsiderate. Mobile internet is very poor.
The app for the electricity post is faulty and therefore does not work as described. Water is also turned off here during the winter months without notice. Otherwise, the pitches are very muddy after rain and remain so for a long time. The only advantage is the proximity to the old town.
If the town describes everything so positively, why does it say open all year round without mentioning that the water is turned off? In the dark it is difficult to find despite the other campers' signs. Google is a disaster and there are exactly two tiny signs. No matter how good it could be, I will not come here again.
Turn directly from Bahnhofstraße into Jahnstraße; the navigation system directed us incorrectly. Great place for one night. Several restaurants are very close by.
The service station has been shut down for the winter since yesterday.
Many heartfelt thanks to the municipality. The fairground vehicles are almost all gone, and apart from us there are two other campers here. If everyone respects the pitch markings, there is still room for at least three or four vehicles! Paid electricity at the post and grey-water disposal are good and free. We would come here again.
The site is blocked by a fair. This crucial information is missing from the long-winded description.
A small motorhome area where grey-water disposal is possible, but there is no typical place for emptying cassettes. It remains unclear whether black water may also be disposed of in the same ground grate. The municipality should perhaps state this explicitly.
This is a wonderful place to stay. Thank you to the local municipality. However motorhomers need to stop disregarding the rules. Dedicated parking is only along one side and is clearly marked. The rest of the parking is for local’s cars only (and are clearly not double bays). Also please stop emptying your toilet cassettes in the grey water drain. It is prohibited and also disgusting to do this.
Beautiful free motorhome area, with everything you need within walking distance. Gravel surface. Enter Henry-Dunant-Weg as the address for access. Many thanks to the municipality; the old town and spa park are worth seeing.
Access via Bahnhofstraße; there is only a very small sign there, unlike the route shown by Maps through Park4Night. Great for passing through, directly by the town center with a large selection of restaurants.
A free motorhome area within walking distance of the wonderful old town. We had a quiet night and were able to dispose of our grey water. Many thanks to the town for the excellent service and friendly hospitality.
The site is free and perfect for one night while passing through. We had a completely quiet night.
According to the signs, a motorhome area for eight motorhomes and a maximum of three days. The spaces are not marked. Gravel surface; large puddles form when it rains. Charges apply only for electricity and fresh water from the machine. Some people also misuse the ground inlet for grey water to dispose of black water. Since there is no free rinsing facility: dirt and stink!
The site is well designed, but there is no toilet disposal. We had the pitch directly next to the grey-water drain. In fact, a man emptied his toilet cassette into the grey-water drain without rinsing. Such an inconsiderate person. Now the whole area stinks!
We stayed here comfortably and peacefully. Thanks to the town for this free site close to the center!
We spent a quiet night; beautiful motorhome area with facilities for filling and emptying. Water costs 50 cents. Many campers present.
Gravel parking area for approximately eight campers, plus another space for one and around four campers depending on the ordinary cars parked there. The actual camper area also has electricity for four campers. The toilet building will soon be put into use. Ten minutes on foot to the old town, which is definitely worth visiting.
Quietly located and a few minutes' walk from the beautiful village center.
ATTENTION: Google Maps shows the other side of the car park, separated by a barrier. A clean place. We had a quiet night. There were no negative aspects apart from people who mistake this for a campsite and park with wide gaps between them.
A lovely place to visit Bad Camberg. Unfortunately, some motorhome users confuse the site with a campsite and take up two spaces. The opposite car parking spaces are also used by motorhomes.
