Roadside parking near Benalmádena’s Buddhist stupa, with views of the stupa, city and sea. It is free but usually crowded, busy and noisy because of passing traffic, with no parking services. The stupa and butterfly park are nearby attractions, and the stupa can be visited approximately from 10-19, with a siesta from 14-16. Parking for larger motorhomes may be difficult.

Just a road with asphalted roadside parking spaces; very noisy and busy, but free. There are no services and it is usually crowded.
When we arrived at noon, cars were parked there, and farther down along the tennis court it was impossible because of the angled spaces—our 6.40 m motorhome would not fit. We found a place farther down, first right at the roundabout, to park along the school. Colomares Castle is 600 meters farther down.
Good for visiting, but there is a lot of traffic because it is beside the road.
Very good views! No services. A fairly busy road, but we were able to rest well. The butterfly park was spectacular! The Buddhist temple was also great!
We had a good night, quiet until 9 a.m., after which they began work on the stadium. We visited the Buddha statue. Very beautiful panoramic view over the city and coast. Several motorhomes can park here. Our 8 m vehicle had no problem.
it is certainly NOT quiet. cars were going past all night and and a car went past on three separate occasions (long after the sports ground had closed) sounding its horn. There is work in the Buddhist garden so noise from the builders and diggers. Fantastic location for the Stupa and butterfly farm. The police went past and didnt move us on.
We spent Sunday night there, and it was really quiet.
Just as described: very quiet and safe, and being close to the stupa makes it special. The stupa is closed on Mondays. The butterfly park is open during its usual hours.
