Unnamed Road, PH49 4HY
Been here?
This is a small, scenic wild spot with views of Etive Mor, near a river and waterfall. It is slightly sloped, has room for about two vans, and offers quiet nights, but there is no room to turn around after entering. Summer visits can bring severe midge problems, while paths and bushes have been affected by human waste and toilet paper. Tourists pass through during the day.

good : slightly sloped but workable with leveling blocks, amazing views & good swin spot bad: so much human waste & toilet paper spread behind the park up
A spot with an incredible view. We were alone and the place was very quiet. Close to the main road so quite convenient if you arrive late or want to leave early. If you have time, drive along the whole road, totally worth it
A very beautiful and quiet location. The trees provide excellent shelter from the wind, and there is almost no traffic on the small side road. Bins can be found a few meters farther across the bridge. Great place for an overnight stay :)
Yes the midges. Yes the spot was not perfectly level (it’s but a few degrees off level). You get 4G. I moved back here after the pretty spot at the end of the road. That pretty spot smelt like human waste, campers lit fires & the smoke filled my van. For 2 hours a crying child was not settled or comforted. I am very happy here.
Beautiful place with a direct view of Etive Mor peak. River and waterfall nearby. Infested with midges in summer.
Infested with midges during our visit, although I think it is like that everywhere in the area! A few cars, but generally quiet.
Level space for two vans, although a third squeezed in. VERY bad midges. Quiet after 10pm but not a busy road. All the footpaths leading to the local waterfall were littered with human waste and toilet roll. Ruined the area. Take it with you folks, this sort of behaviour will fuel bans.
Not level. Enough space for a bunch of vans. Nice view. Silent at night.
A great spot but unfortunately the bushes have been used as toilets so much it stinks
Spent a good night.
We parked in a single space just 50m on from this one. Sadly the mist had descended so we didn’t have views, but it was a very peaceful night. A few cars passed late and then nothing
Great wee spot. Fantastic views, and really peaceful. Slight slope, but nothing to worry about. Enough space for two vans to fit comfortably.
It was fine for the night. Good 4g signal. Felt a bit cramped and uneven with noise from the nearby main road. I would head further along the road for a more peaceful spot - but be warned most of the pullouts now have no parking / camping signs.
Very beautiful spot, but we were overrun by biting midges. Be sure to lock up at sunset to avoid this nuisance.
Fab spot stayed the night along with 2 other cans, no litter no noise but lots of midges would definitely stop again the waterfall is beautiful
Large space to fit three vans with excellent views, however not really flat and lots of midges! We did sleep quite well though and a morning walk over to the waterfall and to photograph Buachaille Etive Mòr was fab
